Description:

Discover the epitome of Hip, Cool and Post Modern of all these styles in Central Loft #207! This one-bedroom loft, featuring 2 sleeper sofas for guests, stands out as one of the finest places to stay in South Haven. The developer has masterfully repurposed the historic 1913 High School, creating a blend of Urban Post-Modern Design with the colors of the Southwest Michigan Cottage palette – think Chicago Urban meets South Haven Beaches. The loft exudes energy and promises an unforgettable stay.

Situated on the 2nd floor, accessible by just one flight of stairs (due to the building's vintage nature, this is not handicapped accessible), the loft welcomes you with exposed brick and a lively atmosphere. There is an elevator to the condo itself, but not one to the pool/hot tub/theatre area. The bedroom exudes warmth and style, with cozy furniture and inviting bedding on a king-sized bed and twin trundle bed in master. The king bed is fairly high off the ground and may not be suitable for older guests. Your guests will find comfort in the choice between 2 pull-out sofas, designed for a restful night's sleep.

You can enjoy your favorite music on the smart TV, create a delicious dinner in the modern kitchen using local Farmer’s Market finds, and then have a private movie night in one of the two on-site movie theaters in the Central Loft Complex.

The premises offer large patios for grilling (grills available in summer months only). There's also an indoor heated pool and hot tub for relaxation and a spacious workout facility to keep you active. A short walk takes you to everything South Haven has to offer, including restaurants, shopping, the yacht club, and, most importantly, the beach. We were so very excited to stay at the renovated school where my grandparents fell in love. This condo is amazing! It’s very well stocked with everything you need and more. The twin bed has a trundle underneath. We normally take bottled water with us when traveling and didn’t need it with the filtered water from the fridge. Pool area was awesome. The water was warm and the hot tub was hot. Plenty of towels available for the pool and showers. Such a great location to downtown and just a few miles from our favorite Michigan winery (Cogdal Vineyards). Tarah was wonderful and gave us a heads up a headless horseman would be going through downtown for Halloween - very cool and eerie. We will definitely be back!

As advertised - updated, modern loft in the redone school. Access to the gym, pool, hot tub, theatre, grills - an awesome place. And we still love SoHa! Walkable to town or the beach, but we brought bikes. Tarah was super responsive (and gave a neat welcome bag with goodies). A great long-weekend stay before our kids head back to school.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

I started by myself for the weekend, and I had a fantastic time. The condo was beautiful and very well-stocked. Downtown was a few short blocks away, so I was able to walk everywhere, which was very convenient. I loved the on-site movie theater and hot tub, as well. The weekend went by far too quickly, and I will definitely be back!

Perfectly located to everything downtown South Haven. But if you just want to hang, this place has everything including a heated pool, hot tube and two movie rooms. Our grand kids thought Papa & Grandma were the best staying at this property- great memories.
