Enjoy a stylish stay in wine country at this centrally located 3 bedroom retreat only 5 mins from Sonoma Square.

Step outside to your private bucolic oasis with wraparound deck, seasonal creek and hot tub where you can unwind sipping local wine while dining al fresco underneath citrus & olive trees.

Nestled on the east side of town just minutes from world-class wineries, including Gundlach Bundschu (the oldest family-owned winery in California) at the end of our tranquil street.

As you enter the gated grounds at Thornsberry Hollow you are greeted by lush landscaping, gnarled oaks and the soothing sound of the seasonal stream creating a peaceful atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. This property offers a true escape into nature with terraced gardens and walking paths that wind down under the treed canopy to the Outpost lounge deck and creek below.

The new renovations throughout showcase a seamless blend of modern sophistication and rustic charm ensuring a harmonious connection with the natural surroundings. A brand new, fully-stocked chef’s kitchen and dining tables for eight inside and out make for excellent entertaining in wine country. Three chic, spa-inspired bathrooms means guests have the space they need. With living and dining spaces on the main floor and three private bedrooms with closets on the second floor, this functional layout is ideal for families, friends and couples.

Take a dip in the hot tub, challenge your friends to a game of cornhole, share stories by the fire pit, relax with yoga on The Outpost deck, walk to the winery at the end of our stunning street or prepare a feast with a recipe found in one of our cookbooks. There’s plenty of ways to enjoy your vacation at Thornsberry Hollow!

Thornsberry is a private home. Please stay within our fenced area. We hope you enjoy our entire property as much as we do!

Other things to note:
Our home is set up as three bedrooms: one with a king, one with a queen and one with two twin beds. We can happily link the twin beds together to form a king upon request prior to arrival. While there is water in our creek for most of the year, it may be dry during the driest months depending on rainfall. We have exterior cameras in our doorbell and on our back deck overlooking the BBQ, hot tub and the Outpost for security reasons.

PERFECT SPOT FOR WINE COUNTRY TOURING

The home is 'truly stylish and renovated'. We enjoyed this spotless, lovely home within its forested/lush setting. Plenty of amenities provided for your stay. Comfortable furniture and beds. Bright interior is a huge plus. Convenient driving distance to Napa, Sonoma, Glen Ellen, and the Silverado Trail....wineries and hikes. (We did not use the hot tub so cannot speak about that amenity.) Would highly recommend this home for your next trip to Wine Country!

Great property, location, host

My partner and I stayed at this property for a few days last week, and we were both delighted. It's clean, comfortable, and exceptionally well appointed, with a remarkably attentive host. We appreciated all the amenities, including the grill and hot tub, and slept well in the comfortable beds. Upon arrival, we found a bottle of rose to welcome us. One note that may be helpful to future guests: We did a lot of wine tasting in Sonoma and Kenwood, and found getting around by Lyft to be fast and easy. Great stay all around, and 10/10 would stay at this property again.

Gorgeous property

This cozy and beautifully furnished VRBO rental offered the perfect peaceful escape. The quiet, tranquil setting allowed for a relaxing stay, while the well-stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare meals for the group. With comfortable furnishings and attention to design details throughout, this property was ideal for a friends getaway. The hot tub is professionally maintained and very clean. We had an amazing stay at this lovely home! From the moment we arrived, we were all impressed by how beautiful and welcoming it was. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and really pretty. and the entire house was spotless and incredibly cozy. The backyard was a highlight, with a charming outdoor patio that was perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine. Off the beaten path

But close enough to everything we did that included a trips to outside Glen Ellen, Sebastopol, and Sonoma Square Shopping. Our runner explored the area, one took a walk, and it was delightfully quiet. The rest of us just simply enjoyed. The house appears to have been recently renovated and I found it very comfortable for our group of 4. 2 shared the master, 1 in the queen, and 1 in a twin. We kind of had to ration the hot water for showers, and the shower in the master is a bit funky but we figured it out. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed the 2 nights we ate in. Thank you. The cleaners arrived promptly at 11 and we were on our way out the door. FYI We did not use the hot tub but one of us raised the cover and noted it did not look very clean.
