Relaxing and beautiful wildlife haven
We stayed for a week in this lovely apartment and thoroughly loved it. The wildlife we saw in 1 week was amazing - deer, eagles, pine martins, kestrels, rabbits. Unfortunately our son was too young for us to do some of the fantastic walks in the surrounding area but we did drive a lot and loved the area. The scenery and overall area was unspoilt and authentic. The landlord was incredibly helpful and nice and i regret that i couldn’t buy some of his brother in laws wine as the free bottle he left for me was the best wine i tasted on my trip to Alsace. He also brought me a bottle of birch sap which was new to me but also quite a pleasant experience. If you really want to experience all of Alsace this is a great place to stay - it is authentic and stunningly beautiful. For nature lovers especially and the vineyards are only a 20-30 minute drive away. The apartment itself was very well equipped and at night my wife and i enjoyed sipping some of the local white wine while the kids played upstairs or watched cartoons on the state of the art television. All round highly recommend it especially for the authentic feel of it and the stunning wildlife. Thanks Bertrand for such a relaxing holiday.
