I have been staying at the grand millennium since they’re opening for the past five years.
They used to have a five star and very welcoming staff.
Some of the new front desk staff (especially the lady supervisor), were rude and lacked attention to details.
Made me feel uncomfortable when they ignored the fact that I have Hotel.com vip status, and refused to even consider the basic amenities such as a free parking…which they always gave.
More over our first night at was in a room without a working AC room 1117 (double check if you get this room) and at first they just insisted it is just a configuration (as if we are dumb not knowing how to use an ac remote) the next day they checked and they confirmed the AC didn’t work, and switched us to room 2317. NO APOLOGIES NO UPGRADE NOTHING.
I didn’t ask for anything- but what makes a five star hotel is their proactiveness at making the customer feel wanted and attended to.
This was supposed to be a very special trip. Spoiled by a chain of events.
Other than that the rooms are big an comfortable
The staff at the spa are amazing, and the ladies who did our pedicure were very professional. The restaurant breakfast staff, there used to be a lady that was really top and a phenomenal memory - unfortunately was no longer there.
