Quiet rural getaway
The living area is on the second floor above the garages and overlooks a beautiful rural landscape with the historic viaduct and the great western railway line.
The apartment is almost new with all modern facilities, double glazed windows and air conditioning.
The 200 rural acres provides interesting bush walks and there are many native animals and birds to see. The main house was a Cobb and Co Inn built in 1860 and there is also a heritage cemetery and granite quarry on the property to visit.
It is very quiet at night and wonderful to see the stars.
Visits can be made to the local villages of Rydal and Tarana to enjoy a meal at the local pub or cafe at Tarana, Lake Lyall, the heritage Zig Zag Railway and the Glow Worm Tunnel near Lithgow, Jenolan Caves and Mayfair Gardens at Oberon.
Otherwise stay at home and enjoy a glass of bubbles on the front verandah overlooking the countryside.
