Overordnet godt, men også lidt skuffende oplevelse

Generelt et godt hotel, men levede ikke op til forventningerne. Da vi ankom ved 22 tiden havde personalet i receptionen travlt med at fjolle med hinanden og gav lidt sløset oplysninger om morgenmadstider, hvor elevatoren var osv, efter vi så lidt spørgende ud ift hvor vi kunne finde værelset. Det gav alt i alt et lidt ærgerligt indtryk af check in oplevelsen, hvor man følte sig mere til besvær end velkommen. Da vi kom op på værelset lugtede det rigtig dårligt af kloak og meget indelukket. Det viste sig næste dag, at både afløbet i badet og i vasken var stoppede. Toilettet bar tydeligt præg af manglende rengøring i samlingen af toiletbrættet, hvor der var en ubestemmelig substans… Selve døren til toilettet var også meget ulækker med forskellige pletter.. Vi gjorde opmærksom på problemerne og der blev sendt en tekniker med det samme, som fiksede de fleste af tingene, så personalet var meget hjælpsomt der. Dog gav hele starten på opholdet et lidt fladt indtryk, som vi ikke havde forventet af et hotel, der markedsfører sig som et luksushotel. Vi mødte også to kæmpe husedderkopper på værelset i løbet af opholdet. I spaen var der en del mug i bruseområdet i dameomklædningen. I udendørsområdet var der mågeklatter på mange af liggestolene og også på den ene bassinkant, så det var i kontakt med vandet. Ellers pæn og god spa. Resten af opholdet var det personale vi mødte meget venligt og hjælpsomt. Morgenmaden var rigtig god og her var personalet meget professionelle og kundemindede.

Ikke så godt som tidligere

Vi har været på Hotel Alsik mange gange før, men for 1. gang var vi skuffet over morgenmaden. Brugt service blev ikke fjernet løbende. Kunne ikke spise blødkogt æg sammen, da der kun var et. Der blev først fyldt op senere. Måtte vente på juice, da der manglede glas. Pålægsfadet var heller ikke fyldt op. Der lå kondensvand ved smørret. Tænker de mangler ansatte, men en skam, da det giver en forkert helhedsoplevelse. Receptionen var heller ikke så imødekommende som tidligere besøg.

Fra det øjeblik man ankommer til den imponerende bygning, der rejser sig majestætisk ved Sønderborgs havnefront, er man ikke i tvivl: Hotel Alsik er en destination i sig selv. Vores nylige ophold i en Junior Suite var intet mindre end en enestående oplevelse, der kombinerede arkitektonisk elegance, uovertruffen komfort og en service, der var både hjertevarm og professionel. Ankomst og Indtjekning Lobbyen er et kapitel for sig. Med sine tårnhøje lofter, smagfulde nordiske design og et imødekommende personale følte vi os straks velkomne. Indtjekningen forløb gnidningsfrit og effektivt, og vi blev mødt med en oprigtig gæstfrihed, der satte tonen for resten af vores ophold.
