Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is strictly not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. It is in a residential area and any noise made on the large front balcony carries to neighbouring houses. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.

About the home

"Waikiki Views" is located just 500m from hugely popular YCW beach, 550m from Smiths Beach, and 2.5 km from the world famous GP Circuit. The excellent location makes this house perfect for young families as well as boating, fishing and motor sport fans alike. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

This fabulous two storey home offers five spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and two living areas. The huge upstairs living area features a flat screen TV, as well as a reverse-cycle air conditioner and wood fire, while the equally huge downstairs living area features a pool table, bar fridge, books, games, a second TV and DVDs.

Outdoor Areas

Outdoor living is catered for as well, with a gigantic upstairs deck featuring a gas BBQ, bar fridge, heater, outdoor furniture and gorgeous water views, while the double driveway provides ample parking for several cars and a boat.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, coffee machine (DeLonghi with coffee grinder) toaster, kettle, etc. plus a sink, large fridge, dishwasher, oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

The home has a wall-mounted reverse cycle air-conditioning unit upstairs. There is also the lovely wood fireplace (with wood provided) in the upstairs living area. In addition to this, the home has two ceiling fans in the upstairs living area and 5 portable stand alone heaters and 5 portable stand alone fans.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 12 beds, accommodating up to 16 guests:

Bedroom 1 (upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (upstairs): One Tri-bunk
Bedroom 4 (downstairs): One Queen bed and one Set of Single bunks
Bedroom 5 (downstairs): One Single bed and One set of Single bunks and One Tri-bunk

Please note: The Tri-bunks have a Double bed base and a Single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, * check in times * are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional * linen hire * over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
