The place was very luxurious- brand new- spacious, clean, big fluffy towels, and just beautiful. There was a large space downstairs so we could visit with some family by the "fireplace" too. Very nice place!

We stayed at The Skowhegan for our Son's wedding at The Barn at Loon Cove. It was very close to the venue and made travel easy. The rooms were clean and I loved the shower! Would recommend.

The coffee pot was disgusting and the toaster appeared as though someone had cooked food on TOP of the toaster. there are basically no functioning amenities here either other than a poor gym. There is NO cafe as advertised but there’s a “Biergarten” next door. No vending machines. Skip this place and go somewhere cheaper.

Having absolutely no staff available is a little odd but it’s ok. My only disappointment was that I was expecting a better view from the room. We’re on the first floor overlooking a parking lot when we are right on a river.

It felt brand new and it had a cool vibe. I was surprised to find something so nice just an hour outside of Portland. It’s a great place to stay if you’re in the area. I will definitely go back! PS check in was a breeze!!
