Stayed at Laura many times. It is on Evangelistria Street, close to popular Papadiamantis Street where you will find shops, bars and places to eat. Big rooms in the back streets of Skiathos Town with fridge, cooking rings, air con and balcony. Rooms at the front face the road. You may hear some traffic noise and local dogs barking. To be expected in Town. Rooms at the back face a garden and are much quieter. Good housekeeping. Tired bathroom suite needs modernising but functions fine. Plenty of hot water. Air con for when it was needed. Housekeeping efficient. WiFi prone to drop out a few times but on the whole it behaved well.

Great location. Close to the city center, but far away enough to be quiet. The room was clean. The AC worked well. The kitchenette was useful. The manager was helpful and cordial. A great place for the price.

Spacious studios in Skiathos Town on Evangelistria Street. Minutes walk from local bakery, supermarkets, cafes and tavernas. The same road will lead you towards the main Papadiamantis Street in Skiathos Town. Rooms at the front face the street with building opposite and hill to the side. These get the afternoon sun. Rooms at the back face the garden and are cooler and much quieter. From the top floor you can see the hills and houses and the trees in the garden below.

Good location, not far from port.

Nice front staff, but cleaning person came into my room and threw out plastic grocery bag which I had among my things. My bad contained my sunblock and other things that were not trash. Not cool. Other than that, it was a little dated in decor but was in a nice spot close to harbor and pretty clean. Impossible to take a shower without making floor wet by the way the curtain was set up, but still a pretty good place

Budget studio near to all ammenities.

We had a fantastic two weeks hiking on Skiathos. The budget studio was ideal for us, it was located in the centre near to buses, taxis, shops and tavernas.

Great hotel in excellent location

Laura House is exactly as described - a basic, excellent value hotel in an ideal location for the town, port and bus station. The hotel is clean, the staff are very helpful ( although don't all speak English ( we used an app to communicate perfectly satisfactorily). It was great having mini kitchen facilities - the hotel is minutes away from two small supermarkets. The only negative and beyond the control of the hotel, is the noise from road users ( mainly mopeds and motorbikes) but this would apply to any of the similar located hotels/ apartments. We would definitely go back to Laura House!

Enkelt hotell.Store rom og romslige balkonger. Hadde balkong mot hage i første etasje. Noen katter på besøk daglig. Badet trenger oppgradering. Likeså kjøkken fasilitetene. Måtte kjøpe endel kjøkkenutstyr. Manglet vannkoker. Rengjøring hver dag.Godt med håndklær. Ung pike som snakket lite hadde ansvar for alt.Dette var vårt andre opphold der. Vi liker det enkelt. Balkongene er et pluss. Vi har bodd både på øverste og nederste etasje. Har vært 12 ganger på øya.Første gang 1981. Laura ligger sentralt i byen. Lett tilgjengelig.

La struttura e' proprio al centro della città. Le stanze molto semplici, ma pulite. Tuttavia non ha nulla della pensione, ma piuttosto può essere definito un affittacamere, dal momento che non c'è reception, nessuno a cui chiedere informazioni, alcun servizio e la porta d'ingresso della struttura rimane aperta ed incustodita per tutta la notte.

posizione ottima per chi preferisce la vicinanza al centro di Skiathos, la sistemazione è tutto sommato discreta non manca quasi nulla ( a parte macchinetta caffe' e tv con canali internazionali che se trovi una settimana con tempo brutto può essere di sollievo ) , molto buone le pulizie della camera con cambio giornaliero, un pò scomodi i letti singoli 3 in camera, balconcino praticabile per colazione o cena ( presenza di zanzare ).
