Tucked away on a quiet country lane this spacious, detached bungalow offers a tranquil retreat complete with a private hot tub to relax in after a day exploring the area. Whether it’s a trip to the traditional seaside resort of Skegness with its sandy beaches and Gibraltar Point Nature reserve, or a day out in Lincoln famous, for its cathedral, castle and the Magna Carta Visitor Centre, there is something for everyone. Just 2 miles to Burgh le Marsh where you will find a number of restaurants and pubs. The Lincolnshire Wolds offer excellent walks and cycle routes with good country pubs to stop off in and enjoy refreshments, coarse fishing at Bratoft, (licence required), is 2 miles away and there is a good golf course within a short drive. Beach 9 miles. Shop and restaurant 5 miles, pub ½ mile.

Fabulous cottage, clean, comfortable (very comfy twin beds), spacious and well equipped.

Fabulous cottage, clean, comfortable (very comfy twin beds), spacious and well equipped. We stayed with our son and girlfriend who live some distance from us and it was wonderfull to have the big kitchen table for us to get together and to play games, (finally won a game of Risk!) cards and enjoy some lovely meals courtesy of the amazing Aga. The 2 sitting rooms are brilliant we had space for us oldies to watch our rubbish and them to watch their rubbish 🤣 . Our dog loved the enclosed garden and chasing the birds and dragonfly, the bowls and balls are a lovely touch, very dog friendly. The welcome pack was so kind and very much enjoyed. Just for other info, the Chinese and the fish shop in Burgh le marsh are very good and the portions are huge! But they are collection only, a pizza company called Favourz did deliver to the cottage and they were good pizzas. The owners are great and responded immediately to a text I sent with a question. All in all this is a fabulous comfortable cottage, in a lovely rural setting. We will definitely be back.

Fantastic cottage.

Fantastic cottage. It must be as this was our second visit and that's never happened before. In a remote village, but the bigger village of Burgh le Marsh is only a short walk. Skegness close by for supermarkets. Park at the golf course for access to the beach for a nice dog walk. King George walk also great for the dog. Cottage has everything, and very peaceful. Hot tub is great. Highly recommend!

With a completely enclosed garden boasting a spotlessly clean hot tub to relax in & a vast array of kitchen utensils, towels & blankets, no detail has been overlooked.The very generous welcome hamper from the delightful hosts was a lovely surprise & very much appreciated.Our week in Rose Cottage is a holiday we will always remember & we can't wait to go back.
