Traditional Breton home now a comfortable family gîte with heated swimming pool

Granary is one of 3 gîtes at Kergudon, and one of 2 that can accommodate a family.
The building is a classic Breton cottage dating from the mid 19th century and has been beautifully updated to provide all the comforts required for the perfect self-catering family holiday.
The accommodation is located over 3 floors.
The entrance leads into the ground floor kitchen and dining space. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you would require to prepare everything from a simple snack to a multi-course dinner of haut cuisine. There is a large range cooker with 1½ electric ovens and gas hob; large fridge-freezer; microwave and dishwasher to assist with the cleaning up.
There is a comfortable dining space with table to comfortably sleep 6, 2 reading chairs and a wood burning stove for ambience in the colder months.
Also on the ground floor is a large family bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, toilet and sink.
On the first floor is the lounge with ample seating for 6 and fabulous views over the garden and Monts D’Arrée beyond. The living room has a TV, DVD player and stereo.
Off the living room is the master bedroom with king-sized (150 x 200 cm) bed and en-suite shower room.
The top floor has a twin (two x 90 x 190 cm) and a double (137 x 190 cm) bedroom.
Outside, Granary benefits from a large, private, family garden with wooden garden furniture, parasol, sun loungers and BBQ.
Wifi is available throughout Granary.
All of our guests at Kergudon have access to our many communal facilities.
These include a 10 x 5 heated indoor / outdoor swimming pool and adjacent terrace and pool room (indoor / outdoor as it has a full-height retractable cover that can be opened in good weather); a boot room with a range of wellington boots for you to borrow for walking in the forest; a washing machine (additional to the one in the gite) and a tumble dryer.
Our bike store has mountain bikes available to our guests free of charge; we have a pétanque (boule) pitch and family games room with pool table, babyfoot, electronic darts and a selection of games and books. The games room has a projector and large screen and can be reserved and used as a cinema for a family film night.
We also have a well equipped fitness suite so you can maintain your physical routine when you are with us - or you can start one! David, one of the owners, is a fully qualified Personal Trainer who can generate a program for you or give you fitness training, yoga or pilates.
