Rooms are much smaller than they look and balcony’s overlook a car park so don’t bother with that option. Otherwise good, fab location and friendly staff.

Staff could not be more helpful a special thank you to Sharkira and Sara . The Scarlet Hotel is right down the road to the MRT there are three stations Maxwell being the closest . The rail system is very easy to use and cost very little too. The Hawker food market is just across the road. Great street food at excellent prices and a good vibe. I would recommend this hotel

The Scarlet is an excellent choice in Singapore.

The Scarlet is an excellent hotel. The rooms are nicely furnished, and the free minibar was an added bonus. The staff was efficient and more than accommodating. The location is good…located right next to a Hawkers’ market…which made finding food easy. The only issue we had was that the rooftop bar (part of the reason we booked The Scarlet) was not available to us our first night due to a private function. Additionally, the hot tub is undergoing maintenance and was closed. We were not advised about the unavailability of both of these when we made the reservation. I would recommend The Scarlet as a place to stay in Singapore. The hotel layout is quirky and harkens back to days gone by.

The location is excellent, in the heart of bustling Chinatown. There is a MRT train station less than a block away for super easy access to all of Singapore. Staff are friendly and helpful. You are welcomed with a cold towel and water when arriving Property is boutique and cute. Many restaurants and coffee shop’s within walking distance. We had room 304, an Executive Room with balcony. Room size was on the small side, we still had room for our bags. There is a safe in the room. There was a good size balcony with table and 2 chairs. There were complimentary mini bar items. The shower was basic, with only a single handheld shower head. All other hotels on our trip had rain showers. The room was too bright at night, with much outside light from the bathroom that you could not block out due to the opaque glass bathroom Door. There are decorative lights on the balcony that can’t be turned off. You’ll need a sleep mask in room 304.

A perfect little pit stop in a safe and interesting quarter. The staff we over an above kind and helpful. Loved having a balcony and a French windows to open. The room was small but just fine for a couple of nights. My sister recommend this hotel to me last year as they enjoyed and I would recommend too - if you are looking for a small friendly boutique hotel.

GREAT LOCATION

Stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is in an excellent location for Chinatown, easy transport links via Maxwell MRT, Chinatown or Tanjong Pagar MRT'S. Maxwell Hawker Centre a minute walk away for food. Great little rooftop bar open from 5 pm. It's a quirky little hotel, corridors are like a rabbit warren. We were at room 240, no view, at the back of the hotel, but adequate enough with super comfy bed and complimentary mini bar/snacks I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. The extras provided to us was fabulous. Free water, free wine or beer and fresh fruit always available right in the heart of Chinatown so we could see the beautiful temples and go through their markets.
