My wife and I liked the skyloft although it’s a tight squeeze to move around the room when your luggage is open and spread out a bit. But for the one night it was fine. We did the Crystal Club again. It wasn’t as good as we remembered it a couple of years ago but it’s still not bad value.

Staff were very friendly and helped us with our requests, except two requests. With these two requests, I believe ‘ lack of English language and understanding ‘ was the reason. The room was slightly on the small size ( 22sq metres ), with only one bench to place one of two suitcases. Bed was comfortable, and the administration staff did allocate a room with a great view as requested ( 16th floor ). The MRT underground station under the hotel plus the nearness of the ‘ Hop On Hop Off bus stop ‘ was great. Plenty of eating places around, and a shopping mall on opposite corner. Shower / bathroom was suitable for we two elderly husband, wife. Lift was efficient. No clothes wardrobe available, only a clothes hanging area above suitcase bench. The in-room safe worked efficiently, and combination was easy to set. ‘ The Coffee Belt ‘ foyer breakfast is of reasonable selection with a scrambled eggs selection, croissants, toast, fruit salad, jams, prepared bread rolls, with some local delicacies , coffee or tea, for SG dollars, 12.50 plus 10% service charge plus plus 7% GST. Breakfast on Floor 5 will cost SG 25.00 + taxes.

Great Spot

Right in the thick of Little India it is a great location. Doesn’t cost much in a cab to get anywhere. We weren’t there long enough to get use of the MRT but this hotel is literally on top of a station. Breakfast was pretty ordinary catering towards Indian diners. There was still eggs, pastries and cereals so definitely enough to keep you going. With 2 adults and 2 children the loft room was very squishy, if we had stayed any longer it would have been chaos, but for a longer stay with 2 adults, perfectly fine.

New hotel close to amnesties & transport

Pros: It’s newness looked fresh not tired
Cons: Should have comfortable chairs in room to sit the one near desk is rickety
Location: Close to MRT. Eateries& amenities
Nice hotel friendly staff good location enjoyed my brief stay
