Nothing worse than arriving late to find the lift is broken, then getting to your room to find it has no window. Dissapointing. Nice area and well connected.

While close to three MTR stations, none is easy walkable with a suitcase. you have to go up and down steps and sidewalks are very narrow at places. The shower doors do not close completely so water tend to come out on the floor even when you are extremely careful. Legroom is very tight in front of the toilet. Common kitchen providers, snacks and filtered water, laundry and dryermachine operated by token five dollar each. Very convenient.

I’ve never given full stars to anything ever. This hotel exemplifies the Singaporean meticulousness and friendly attitude. I ended up staying for nearly three weeks. Plenary of great places to eat in the area (Tong Ah for breakfast!)

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff (They allow us to place our luggage in a secure location when we got there 4 hours ahead of check-in time, gave us a text message when we could check in, lend us umbrella when it rain outside, and advise us on the area's attraction to suit our need, plus called taxi for us when we check out and even turn down tip when we offered). Efficient, Comfortable, but no frill stay (Of course that comes with a reasonable price!).

Excellent place to stay if you are ok with a small room. Nothing was too much to ask of Stanley the Manager and his staff. The laundry and kitchen are great for those who travel with minimal luggage and like to have a cup and something small for breakfast. The rooms are well laid out and the beds are comfortable

Wants to be eco-friendly

I appreciated the effort to offer eco-friendly options, but unfortunately, they weren't practical. The room lacked windows that could be opened, leaving it consistently humid. (Though, to be fair, Singapore’s climate might have made little difference.) To get dry towels, we had to get new ones daily. Even leaving the air conditioning on all day didn't help dry them out.

Convenient location

The hotel itself was fine . The rooms are a bit small . The staff were really good. The location is great . A short walk to the subway station. We got off the cruise ship ,500 meters to the subway and 3 stops to the hotel (just tap your credit card for the fare) . It was 1 hour to the airport from the hotel . Very close to china town and short ride to gardens by the bay . Quite ish location ,not a lot of shops around but potential noise from restaurants across the street (I never heard them).

Reasonably priced hotel in Chinatown

Loved the location. Very reasonably priced. The staff at the front desk are friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants and eating places close by. My room had an outdoor patio which was nice. The rooms are a bit small but adequate, clean and comfortable for a single person.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend. The hotel is very clean, furnished beautifully, and is in a great location in Chinatown. There are a couple reasons why we didn't give this stay 5/5. First, we found the male staff who checked us in to be quite cold and unwelcoming. The female staff at the desk at other times during our stay was very welcoming and friendly. We paid extra for the 'Premier Studio' when booking because we understood it had a private terrace (as pictured). We realized it didn't when checking-in, we were informed that the fine print says the 'Premier Studio' either comes with a private terrace or extra space with a sofa. We wouldn't have booked this room if we knew it didn't have a private terrace. The room was spacious but the use of space was strange - a tiny bathroom and way too much storage for a hotel stay. We were told at check-in that our room had a coffee maker and it did not - there is a coffee machine in the public kitchen. We didn't have any issues with street noise during our stay. Overall a good experience, just be careful and check what your room includes in the fine print.

Ke-Sa House was a fantastic base for exploring Singapore. Our premier room was immaculate, very quiet, cool, and comfortable. The communal kitchen with terrace was handy for making breakfast & snacks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location - walkable & close to train connections. Loved our stay!
