Fantastic hotel, yes the rooms are small but we knew that and had a room with a balcony which made all the difference. Excellent location, walking distance to everything with the train station right underneath. The pool is amazing, they let you use this before and after check in/out. Breakfast was great, staff lovely, would definitely come back.

Rooms were a bit small, bathroom was tiny but we were hardly there so was not a huge issue. No wardrobe to store clothes or luggage. Location was perfect for us with MRT station accessible directly below the hotel! Staff were lovely.

We had a great stay at the Mercure ICON. The lobby was modern, clean, and welcoming, and the staff were consistently helpful, professional, and friendly throughout our visit. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety and was a great way to start each day. The location is excellent, just a short walk to Chinatown, with easy access to nearby MRT stations. Both Lau Pa Sat and Maxwell Food Centre were less than five minutes away, making it ideal for exploring Singapore’s local food scene. Rooms are a little on the small side, but that’s typical for the region and didn’t impact our comfort at all. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and perfectly manageable for a family stay. Our flight was delayed on departure, and the staff were extremely accommodating, they let us extend our stay and even kept us in the same room, which was greatly appreciated. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in Singapore.

Conveniently close to MRT stations with one underneath hotel with mall pathway. Windows could have been more soundproof for early morning temple drum (6:30am) and loud nightclub noise at nighttime.

The hotel is closed Telok Ayor, Chinatown, and Maxwell MRT line so it was super convenient for us to transport from and to the airports. Checkin and out progresses are rapid and efficient. We had a great stay.

Great hotel, Nice room, Awesome pool!

I loved it here! The rooms were small- but just enough. They were comfortable and efficient. The pool on the 2nd floor had an awesome view of the city, and the hotel was centrally located with a lot going on around it. I would totally recommend this hotel and stay here again if I am ever back in the area.

Very welcoming and helpful staff, fantastic location including a MRT station ( Telok Ayer) in the basement, very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, great views from balcony room....the only downside was the size of the room, shower room/ toilet and separate bathroom basin. Very compact. Only one bedside table and only one chair on the balcony although the room was 2 sharing. Nice clean pool side with loungers and towels.

Modern hotel with great location but shower...

Location is great if you want to visit china town. Train is close too. The hotel was very modern and our room was nice if a little small but not as small as the hotel room in Japan. However, you can hear the some noise from the neighbours and people passing in front of your door. My biggest disappoimtment was the shower. The floor of the shower is tilted to the left side while the shower drain is on the right. So as you can imagine, the water accumulates on the left side and since the shower cubicle is not that big, it is quite annoying when you are getting out of the shower as the door opens inside towards you. You also need to make sure not to direct the shower head towards the shower door as there is a gap and the water will leak. The sink is located in the bedroom instead of the washroom with the toilet/shower. This may or may not be good depending on person's need. The mirror lights above the sink and the full body size mirror beside the entrance door were very weak and not ideal for makeup prep. Our mini fridge was not working properly too and was barely cold even after 2 days on. The bed mattresse is a little on the mid-firm side. The hair dryer is very strong and not attached to the wc room wall like in most european hotel, which is good. The shower gel/shampoo/conditioner were of good quality too. Overall, yes i would go there again because of the great location mainly.

Great location with many dining options. Facilities are in great conditions. Howevever not recommended for people with young family or people with mobility issues as the rooms are too small. Bathroom is so poorly designed for such a new complex.
