This was a very nice place to stay if we go back to Singapore this will be my go to place highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Singapore. The MRT is less than 5 min walk to a lift and u are there everything is convenient and great location right next to Chinatown

Excellent location and value for money

I have traveled extensively and am not a fan of budget nor over priced hotel chain's but the Dorset was a perfect balance of comfort, location, facilities etc.

Great location

Pros: Location
Cons: Room size, booking process and information communication.
Location: Middle of Chinatown right near a MRT.
Great location, clean and tidy.However we booked for 5 people and when we arrived we only had beds for 4!!! And the rooms are not big either. When questioned staff simply offered a bigger room at our expense!! Not helpful at all. Clearly some problem with communication between booking Wotif site and hotel itself, could be a big problem if your 5th person wasn't a skinny 10 year old!

Exceptional hotel in a fantastic location

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Dorsett hotel in the King spa room. The hotel was in a fabulous location right above Outram Park station which serviced the main areas of interest. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was well appointed; I loved the bath and swimming pool and the rooms and facilities were very clean and well maintained. I can't wait to stay here again!

Excellent location - nice rooms.

We loved our stay at the Dorsett Singapore and would go back. Walking distance to Chinatown and the train station. Cheap taxi rides to the zoos and Universal studios. Room is very nice, loved the free water and slippers/robes, only thing would be the frosted glass bathroom door if you were sharing with someone you didn't feel mega comfortable sharing with. It's not see through ~ but can see the outline or body shadow. Wasn't a problem for us. But maybe for others?

Great Location

We had a really good stay, the staff were wonderful. The standard room is very small but not an issue as we were out most of the time. The beds are very comfortable and the shower was great. Great location, easy walk to China Town, above MRT and very close to Sentosa.

They need to clean this place properly.

Carpets need cleaning in hallways around entrances to rooms, dirty exterior glass, mirrors, seats at restaurant. Rooms were cleaned well every day though. Musty smell in bathroom. Really nice staff.
