A great location.. super easy walk to Maxwell Hawker Centre and the MRT stations. The room itself was very tight and cosy. The beds were comfy. The bathroom was quite smelly (maybe an exhaust fan is needed) and some mould growing. We thought we had a fridge in our room only to find we didn’t upon checking in. No fault of the property but we had very noisy neighbours on our stay, keeping us awake u til after midnight on 2 out of 3 nights with banging doors and very very loud conversions. In saying all that.. the bed was clean and the very convenient location made our stay worthwhile for the price. Could not fault the staff, everyone we encounter was very lovely and more than willing to answer any questions we had .

Difficult check in. System was down, so digital keys could not be accessed. Several people arrived at the same time, no space to stand. Room is hard to navigate for a family. Great area to visit, but not worth the hassle if traveling with a family.

Nice small hotel with smart TV. The street can be slightly noisey due to being in the centre of Chinatown. However it was a good stay in front of the hawker centre and had great restaurants in the surrounding area. The walls are thin!

Five star on location-the place was very convenient, in the center of Chinatown, walkable to Hawker Center, shopping, and MRT district lines. Two star-no elevator to third floor, room was really tiny, and the place can use a paint job and an upgrade on furniture.

That was like 6 adults living out of a closet. There was no where to store our suitcases, so 1 bed was used as storage. It was standing room only, like playing human tetris when it came time to move in the 6' x 2' walking area. So cramped

Walkable and convenient for local transportation. The bad? awful lightning in the room and no power outlets to connect phones or other gadgets overnight. Not even one close to the bed. I had to unplug the TV to use it to charge our phones overnight. But... It's cheap, almost no space in the rooms but if you'll be out most of the time it's manageable.

Accommodation is too expensive for a capsule hotel. Is not family friendly. And if you have big luggages there is no lift. We have to carry all our bags up to the 3rd floor. It is more of a backpacker not a family hotel. Not good for families. Won't be coming to this hotel again sorry to say.

Noisey due to no sound proofing but good location

We paid the low end of the budget for a room in Singapore at $300 AUD a night. I know it’s the low end but for that price they need to maintain and update the rooms accordingly. The rooms were quite worn down and minor damaged seems to just be ignored. The website advertised queen beds but when we arrive they were double. You can tell because when sharing with a small kid get constantly kicked in the back. The Queen beds certainly make a difference and it should be mentioned that they are double mattresses on a queen frame/space. Sound was probably the biggest comfort issue. There is absolutely no sound proofing. The walls are made from some kind of hanging/sliding doors, when you open you door and the neighbour opens theirs it becomes adjoining rooms. Due to this you can hear everything. Like you wouldn’t even want to break wind due to the fear of being heard. Even soft adult voices are audible. We were lucky that our neighbours were also late to bed and late to rise. Kids made noise on both sides of the doors until 11pm and slept until around 9am, once one kid on either side woke up they all woke up, it was like the other kids were inside our room. We kept shushing our own kids and the neighbours shushed their kids. Obviously after a flight or big day out you don’t want the stress of having keep your kids quite in your own space. My husband thought the crying baby next door was ours. It would be a nightmare if you had different sleeping patterns to your neighbours.

Wow... tight space! But great location!

A family of four, with two teenage boys, just barely fit in a family room. Two full beds, and two twins. It was tight, but OK once everyone got in their bed. But, it had an in-suite bathroom, which was fine. We wanted to experience a cube hotel, but have a private bath, and this place fit the bill. A great location in Chinatown, and there was plenty to see and do right out the door. We saw a family of six while we were there too, and they were all on speaking terms, so they must have liked it to, especially if they had the same size room as us! The check in/out procedure was fine and the staff was helpful. If it fits your budget, it's pretty good!

We stayed at Cube twice during our trip and found the rooms to be quite clean and tidy and suitable for a family of five. They are quite compact which is pretty much what you’d expect but have plenty of little compartments, charging points and room amenities. Good for a stay of a night or two. Be aware that there are a couple of flights of stairs if you have little kids or lots of suitcases. Only negative was the awkward, painful check in process - should be easy with the app, but it doesn’t work very well and the desk person does nothing to help except hand you your room cards when you finally get through it.
