A great hotel in Singapore!

My wife and two daughters and I stayed at the hotel for four nights and truly enjoyed Singapore. Adhraf, concierge, gave us excellent suggestions for our four day stay from eating places, sites to see etc. On the business side of the hotel, Raymond was excellent and also helped us with restaurants etc. There are two of them certainly added to a wonderful stay at the hotel. Also, the hotel is located in the middle of several restaurants which really makes it easy to go out and eat and not take a long time getting to the restaurant. Excellent food!

problems for the price.

the staff were great, but the room is flawed. i stayed in a premium executive room 1412 . I have stayed before, but this room had some issues. It's a big room, but has annoying problems (for the price). The water is generally highly erratic.... the basin is alwaysn cold... The shower is quite cold at certain times of the day, then really hot at other times of the day. The stupid "pretty but useless " shower tap, fell apart, but is quite erratic in its use, and doesn't seem to do much... not change cold water to hot, nor hot water to cold. Even when standing under it, the temperatuyr changes by 5 degrees for 5 seconds, then suddenly returns. Quite spontaneous and without warning. It's weird and annoying. Close to dangerous when it suddenly gets hot... The bed in this room is like a concrete slab... OK for China, but noone else. Silly pillows where one is too little but two is too much. The aircond is also highly erratic. hot/cold... and the controls are weird and non-intuitive. This was enough to make me pick the Oasia next week when I return and in the future. Their club rooms are same price and WAY bettter.
