Die Ferienwohnung „Bei Trienchen“ liegt im kleinen, nicht weit vom Rursee entfernten Dörfchen Steckenborn. Steckenborn ist ein rund 500 Jahre altes Dorf welches zur Gemeinde Simmerath gehört und mitten im Nationalpark Eifel liegt, der perfekte Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr Wanderungen in der Eifel. Von hier aus gelangen Sie problemlos zur bekannten Wander Strecke Eifelsteig. Die idyllische Lage lĂ€dt aber ebenso zum entspannen und Seele baumeln lassen in der Natur ein, an heißen Tagen auch gerne an dem ca. 10min entfernten Rursee. Hier gibt es viele Freizeitangebote rund um und auf dem See. Die gerĂ€umige Wohnung mit Balkon bietet reichlich Platz und die Glasfaser-Internetverbindung ist ideal zum streamen oder fĂŒrs Homeoffice. Ihre Haustiere sind bei „Trienchen“ herzlich willkommen. Die Neubau-Wohnung liegt direkt am Waldrand und eignet sich somit auch hervorragend fĂŒr Ihren Vierbeiner. Eine Garage ist vorhanden, Sie können also auch Ihre RĂ€der mitbringen. Die Route-Ravel, unsere ehemalige Bahnstrecke, ist nun eine wunderschöne Fahrradstrecke von Aachen bis nach Eupen quer durch alle möglichen Dörfer mit einigen RaststĂ€tten. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten finden Sie in Simmerath, ca. 5 km entfernt, das nötigste bekommen Sie in der 24-Std-Milch Tanke ein paar Meter die Straße hoch. Im Dorf gibt es außerdem einen BĂ€cker, eine Sparkasse, eine Bar und einen kleinen Italiener. Bei Fragen stehen wir gerne jederzeit zur VerfĂŒgung.

Wir hatten einen sehr guten Urlaub mit einer sehr schönen und sauberen Ferienwohnung. Der einzige Wehrmutstropfen ist dass die Wohnung in unseren Augen nur fĂŒr zwei und nicht unbedingt fĂŒr drei Personen ausgelegt ist. FĂŒr drei Personen fehlten dann doch ein Esstisch mit genĂŒgend Sitzmöglichkeiten.Sonst war alles perfekt

Die Wohnung ist ganz neu und sehr schön eingerichtet. Das Bad ist perfekt. Die KĂŒche könnte mehr ausgestattet sein; ein Topf und eine Pfanne sind etwas zu wenig. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft. Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.

Schöne Wohnung in gĂŒnstiger Lage

Modern eingerichtetes Appartement, ideal fĂŒr zwei Personen. Gut gelegen fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in die nördl. Eifel, das DreilĂ€ndereck und den gesamten Aachener Raum. Wer die schicke und gut eingerichtete KĂŒche intensiv nutzen möchte, wĂŒrde sich ĂŒber ein paar zusĂ€tzliche Töpfe und etwas mehr Geschirr freuen. DafĂŒr gibt es einen supersauberen Kaffeevollautomaten :-) Freundlicher Kontakt und auf jeden Fall einen weiteren Aufenthalt wert!

Nice apartment in the Eifel

The apartment is new, modern, spacious, light, uncluttered, and very clean. The neighborhood isn't anything special but it's fine. There are pretty hikes in the area, and the lakes are pretty to visit. Kevin was very friendly but didn't respond to the last couple of messages I sent (it worked out, because he lives in the house so we saw him and could ask our questions). One thing: the bedroom faces the street. If you're a light sleeper and sleep with the window open (as we always do), you might be bothered by the comings and goings late at night or early in the morning - the gravel driveway is a bit noisy when people walk or drive over it. Other than that, really a nice apartment!

Erholungswoche in der (Nord-) Eifel

Das Objekt war in allen Belangen hinsichtlich Ausstattung, Zustand und Kontakt zum Vermieter sehr zufriedenstellend, die Ruhe sowie die Lage am Dorfrand waren Garant fĂŒr eine erholdsame (Wander-) Woche mit Hund. Das Dorf Steckenborn wiederum ist recht zentral gelegen, so dass man "sternförmig" innerhalb von ca. 45 min mit dem Pkw die nĂ€here Umgebung und insbesondere die einschlĂ€gigen StĂ€dte wie Aachen, Monschau, Bad MĂŒnstereifel, etc. erreichen konnte. Zur Versorgung sind regelmĂ€ĂŸig 5 km nach Simmerath erforderlich, im Nachbardorf in rund 2 km gibt es einen "kleine, aber feine "HandwerksbĂ€ckerei". Ca. 30 min dauert ein Spaziergang direkt von der Wohnung aus durch Wiesen und Wald hinunter zum Ufer des Rursees. Insgesamt fĂŒr diese FeWo eine klare Empfehlung!

Wunderbar!

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die hochenergetische Wohnung liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Lage. Man kann direkt von da, seine Wanderrouten planen und los wandern. Schnell ist man am Rursee, Aachen und andere SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten in der Nordeifel. Guilia & Kevin machen einen sehr guten Job. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt und die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. GrundsĂ€tzlich war alles vorhanden was man fĂŒr einen gelungenen Urlaub braucht. Wir haben nur kleine Anmerkungen: es fehlten uns in der KĂŒche Eierbecher und ein SchĂ€lmesser....auf der Toilette wĂ€re ein HygienemĂŒlleimer sinnvoll ubd im Wohnzimmer ein etwas grösserer Tisch um GetrĂ€nje etc abstellen zu können. Wir haben das den Gastgebern auch persönlich ĂŒbermittelt. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!
