Excellent hotel in a great location. Our brilliant host, Antonis, was helpful and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfasts were outstanding. Located close to the bus terminal, you have all of Sifnos at your doorstep. Would definitely stay again if in Sifnos. Highly recommended!

This is a great hotel. Perfectly located near the bus stop in front of the plaza leading into the beautiful walking alleys of Artemonas. The staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The room and the common areas / gardens are very nice. Amazing coffee and breakfast too. Stay here!

Perfect sport and perfect staff!

I knew Café Smaragdi from my previous stays in Sifnos as I was used to buy coffee thee in the morning before hitting Sifnos trails. I always appreciated the friendliness of their staff, especially Antonis and Yorgo, who always made me feel welcomed. So, this year, I decided to stay at Hotel Smaragdi and I’m very happy with my choice. Rooms are very nice and clean with good beds and quality toiletries. As always staff is very friendly and always available if you need help. Breakfast is super nice as next to a croissant, orange juice and warm drink, you can pick up one meal of your choice from the breakfast menu. Personally, I loved the acai bowl! Hotel is located in Artemonas just next to the main bus station of Sifnos, which makes it very convenient to move around the island. I loved my stay at Smaragdi Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone!

Stunning hotel with exceptional service!

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful village! The location of the hotel is perfect - regular buses to everywhere on Sifnos are right on its doorstep, and Artemonas itself is utterly charming. Hotel owner, Antonis is relaxed, warm-hearted & friendly & has imbued his staff with the same attitude - they are efficient, considerate, polite & professional. Our hotel room was lovely & cleaned regularly. Would come back here in a heartbeat. They couldn’t do enough for us in every way. An absolute highlight of our trip. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

Love it and want to come back!

This was the best place we stayed during our month long trip to Greece. We loved the staff and the breakfast! The coffee was also excellent and the location was perfect for exploring the island by foot, bus, and car…. All of which we did during our multi-day stay.

Nice hotel on Sifnos. Basically across the street from the bus terminal - allows easy connections to Ferry terminal, as well as around island. Hotel in style of the white buildings of the Cyclades Islands, and carries that approach inside - gave the room a nice atmosphere. Good sized, nice rain shower, comfy bed. Good airconditioning. Freshly cooked breakfast on outside terrace. Friendly service.

Centrally located hotel in Artemonas

Artemonas is a convenient and beautiful location. The hotel is placed in the center of Artemonas which made visiting Apollonia and other sights easy, including by walking the short trail between the two villages. The à la carte breakfast was tasty and generous, including our favorite, avocado and tomato toasts, and loose-leaf green and black tea. The room was rather small but with a balcony with a view on the main pedestrian street and Apollonia below that made it more functional. One thing we did not like at all was the bathroom, which was small, smelly and not so functional. There was a nice outside area with sofas to chill out that made it more friendly for a break from the room.

A Great place to be if you choose Sifnos!

Was a great experience ! All personnel and especially Mr Antonis who is the owner, were very kind and willing to assist . Hotel is at a Great spot in the village just were you would pick even as a local to be. Clean safe and 100%decent apartments for their price. The breakfast area is at the same restaurant bar right next to the rooms so very convenient. Artemonas is a key place to the centre of the isle and easier to move around sightseeings and beaches the whole time. I recommend you to try as many breakfast menu plates you can . All were delicious!

Definitely will return!!

Adonis and his staff at smaragdi were truly exceptional. I felt so well taken care of and loved the style and comfort of the hotel. I was solo and without a car, but the hotel is very well situated to take the bus and walk to near by beaches. Great breakfast and food as well! Thank you again for a memorable stay, I will return soon :))

Great

Nice location as a base to explore the island, very central and the bus station is a few metres away. Beaches are around 15 mins by car. Lots of restaurants around and easy to get into the main town. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also excellent.

We were robbed!!!

We were not given room we reserved and they didn't reimburse for the full difference of the lesser room. They essentially doubly booked the nice room and cheated us. The owner smiled as he stabbed us in the back.

I really loved this little hotel. The staff were just amazing. so friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations about where to go, what to do, and how to catch the busses. The breakfast was amazing. Great choices and all yummy! The vibe was very cool. Great mellow music in the restaurant. I wis we had more time to spend there.

Our stay was amazing, Anthony is the greatest I’ve met so far. The rooms were clean and the free breakfast amazing. Close to everything and buses to all the nicest beaches (faros, Kastro, Gialos..)

Great boutique hotel; highly recommend

What a great little family-owned (and run) boutique hotel on the beautiful island of Sifnos. The hotel is located just off the main square of Artemonas and is a great base from which to explore the island - close to the bus stop and hiking trails. Adonis and his team extended a very warm welcome and helped make our all-to-brief stay in the island a memorable one, including a particularly fine breakfast and a damn good cappuccino!
