The parking place is far from the hotel, so you need to walk, and it's not practical if you have leg issues. The terrace was unavailable because it was fully booked by a company XYZ. The room is not at all what you see in the pictures. There is no AC, so you get a loud penguin to survive the heat.

Il est des hôtels dont on sait que l’on n’y reviendra pas, le Blue City en fait malheureusement partie. L’accueil se révèle faussement attentionné car il devient rapidement désinvolte et peu concerné. De prime abord, la chambre semble correcte mais se révèle rapidement en-dessous des attentes. Tout d’abord l’hôtel est situé à un carrefour avec un passage incessant de bus et de voitures, sans que l’isolation phonique soit réellement efficace. La seule réponse de la réception a été de me proposer des boules Quies. Ensuite, la chambre est en vis-à-vis direct avec le carrefour et une façade de bureaux sans qu’il y ait le moindre voilage. Il n’y a aucune intimité possible, la seule alternative est de baisser des rideaux occultants et d’allumer. Enfin, il n’y a aucun placard pour le rangement, seule une tringle et deux petits tiroirs à même le sol. A l’évidence, il n’est pas envisagé que l’on puisse rester plusieurs nuits dans l’hôtel. A cela s’ajoute toute une série de détails dont l’accumulation finit par être agaçante et désagréable : pas de bouteille d’eau à l’arrivée, aucun petit frigo, pas de tapis anti-dérapant dans la baignoire-douche, pas de téléphone pour contacter la réception, pas de patère pour accrocher le peignoir de bain, pas de gobelet pour se rincer la bouche dans la salle de bain, pas de patins pour la chaise de bureau qui devient très bruyante, un montage de multiprises sous le bureau où il n’y a pas de place pour brancher le chargeur de l’ordinateur, deux
Etant au sortir de la gare, le passage des bus est incessant
Aucune intimité possible ... de mon côté, je pouvais suivre la réunion qui se tenait en face
Pas de voilage, seule alternative, le noir et allumer

Nice building, great staff, and creatively managed

Blue City Hotel was wonderful, above all because of the super-helpful staff. The hotel is new, the rooms very comfortable and modern. Although the location is a bit noisy near the train station (5 min walk), the soundproofing is superb, so it's no problem. In every way, the managers and the staff have figured out how to make a hotel stay more pleasant, less complicated, and more enjoyable. They have flexible breakfast hours, were flexible about checkout time, and do 100 little things that makes the stay easy. The breakfast bar was extensive and tasty (but no plain oats). And did I mention that the staff was incredibly helpful, forthcoming, uncomplicated and supportive?

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt und den Zweck meines Aufenthalts in Baden war es genau richtig so. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich einen ruhigeren Ort vorziehen, ohne Lärmeinfluss von einer Autostrasse und vom nahen Bahnhof.
