Fabulous accommodation and staff!

The evening meal was great! Breakfast was fabulous and being looked after by Lesley was the icing on the cake!

So much potential. View doesn’t cover the cracks.

A tale of two sides here, as the room was superb, really stunning. However the service really let it all down in places, as did the food. Our breakfast the first morning was barely edible, my eggs were beige and grey sausages, so it prompted us to avoid the full breakfast the next day. We asked for toilet roll and the manager said he’d get it to our room, we’re still waiting on it and not holding our breath. The floor sinks in places too, as a note, and the TV isn’t mounted to the wall safely! That’s about the gist of it all.

Fantastic location

Fantastic location overlooking the Severn. We stayed in bedroom 2 which was verry well appointed. large bed, large bathroom with a nice deep double end bath and separate walk-in shower. Food choices were great for evening meals and the choice for breakfasts was impressive. We will certainly use this inn again.

Lovely location

Lovely location next to the river. Very friendly check in. Rooms are nice. Breakfast service was great. Would happily stay there again.

A fabulous place to stay, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room , clean , cannot fault anything about the Riverside. Had a full English breakfast before we left , cannot fault . Would highly recommend the Riverside

Perfect

Great location for exploring from, we stayed 3 nights as wife had a conference in Telford for 2 days was easy 20min drive to there from this quiet country location. We are one night in the restaurant as well as breakfast on two days all delicious and good quality. Drink selection was also great. Room was clean, quiet with a lovely view of the river. Would happily stay again.

Delightful Stay

Very friendly and cozy spot. Beautiful site on river - only downside is proximity to major road in the front and pub music in the back - but it was not a significant issue for us. Food in restaurant was very good.

Great one-night stay. Good menu and quality in the restaurant, and comfy bed. The place looks freshly refurbished and the rooms are lovely, but don't expect a lift - this is a very old building. The river view is gorgeous.
