Staff very friendly, baked cookies everyday, good location. However we came to the White Mtns for fresh, cooler air and our room window was screwed shut and could not be opened. Carpet was sticky and old, needs cleaning and/or replacement. Room needs to be updated

Rude check in staff.

Would not stay again. Check in staff was rude. After they called to verify I was staying, they said earliest I could check in was 2:00pm, but when I arrived at 2:04pm after driving for 4 hours, they told me they never said that and they wouldn’t say that.

Reception person not helpful at all. Bar was supposed to be open 5-10, but no bartender at 5:45. When I asked reception desk to call bartender she said, "no he'll be here in a few minutes ". After 15 minutes we just left.

Had an encounter with the assistant manager who came through the door to the pool yelling…. I told her later my son with special needs really struggled with the yelling and what she was saying and she just kinda smirked. Didn’t stay our second booked night because of it.
