Great family friendly Hotel!

Our family’s favorite hotel to stay when we get show tickets. It’s so convenient to just walk out of the hotel into the venue. Always very clean and comfy. Staff is always so kind and accommodating.

THIs is the first time we stayed here and it was amazing. Clean , friendly and the pillows and sheets were/are amazing. I had not been to Shipshewana in years and has changed quite a bit. I would highly recommend Blue Garden Inn and I will stay there again.

Mother/daughters get away and show.

Love staying at the Blue Gate Inn. It’s perfect for a short stay in Shipshewana. Great breakfast. Convenient for taking in a show at their performance Hall right next door.

2 problems with our stay

I stayed here a month ago and enjoyed it, but when I returned with my daughter and granddaughter, was told at Check-in that the pool and hot tub were closed. I wished that I had known that before reserving my room. Also our room, 119, had no hot water in the morning.

We love the Blue Gate and loved our stay. The only complaint is check in. We waited 20-25 minutes in the lobby and nobody was around. When finally the receptionist showed up, there was no apologies or nothing said about us waiting

My wife and I were going to stay there as part of our 51st anniversary celebration. We were so looking forward to spending the evening in such a nice but affordable place. In particular, we were going to enjoy the pool and sauna after supper and before bedtime. Unfortunately, the pool/sauce was closed for repairs and upkeep. There went 90 percent of the reason we picked that place. Fortunately we live close enough it was just as easy to go home and enjoy our own place. Now we'll see about getting the financial part straightened out.
