The staff at Tanglewood were very helpful and nice. The pool area was nice and enjoyable. Unfortunately the room was supposed to be a lake view and our view was a road and the tops of trees. The rooms could stand to be updated as they don’t have anything in them that screams resort or luxury. It was damp and smelled moldy when we arrived and never really went away. The restaurant’s were not good either, our food was cold on the first night and on our 2nd night the food was overcooked and overpriced for what it was. Overall it was an ok stay but not for the price and I would definitely eat somewhere else besides the resort.

Beautiful, clean Villa, quiet and low key with a nice view! Check in was pleasant but vague and the lady wasn’t knowledgeable and unable to answer questions about any local or resort holiday events, or other attractions but directed us to a flyer posted on the wall about a firework event for the 5th.

Older property but very family friendly. The food and drinks are delicious. Staff could be more attentive and inclusive. Rooms were dated but clean with cold a/c. Indoor swimming pool is a plus!

I loved this property! The location was great, the pool was beautiful, and the restaurant and bar options were great. My suite in the tower was so cute and I loved the view of the lake. My one complaint was that my room was not clean. The shower had half full bottles of shampoo/conditioner with the caps still off and hair on the walls. There was blood on one of my curtains, on the wall in the bathroom, and obvious spots on the floor. As well as clusters of hair on the floor in the bathroom almost like someone had a haircut in there and it was only partially cleaned up? I don't feel the entire review of the property should be brought down by one cleaning person so my rating reflects that!
