Great place to stay in Sheffield near the university with on site free parking which was great. Staff really friendly and we ate there in the evening and although it was fully booked they found us a table. Plenty of choice on menu and they had gluten free options which was great for us. Will stay there again.

Beautiful place to stay.

Beautiful place to stay and would recommend. I did have an encounter with a couple of staff members who were non chalant and were frankly rude when I asked for help in connecting to the wifi. Apart from that bitter experience, the rest was fine.

Room 5 was huge and in good condition with a roll top bath and a generous walk in shower. I would have said that the room lighting could have been brighter which would have made reading easier at night.

The location was great and the atmosphere in the bar area was great. The food menu had a great choice, the Pizzas were fabulous. The room was good although the first impression was not good as the carpet was stained. Apart from that we had a great weekend.

Far enough away from City Centre but not so far you feel isolated. It is a quaint converted 19th century mansion property with a very relaxed vibe. The restaurant on the ground floor was always full of locals so you know the food is good. Everything you would expect from a local inn. Free, delicious chocolate chips cookies everyday! Within walking distance of the Botanic Gardens and if you have a bike, the Peak District is also close by. I loved Sheffield and I loved the Florentine.
