Clean, friendly, safe, quiet. Thank you. My only issue was the revolting chemical stench of cleaning products that greeted me in the corridor and in my room on arrival. These products can’t be good for staff or guests to inhale on scales like this. Please look into this issue and see if you can find human - friendly cleaning agents. I asked the cleaning lady not to clean my room. She obliged and I was a lot more comfortable in that I wasn’t gagging on the chemicals on my second night. There was also no way to open a window so I couldn’t get fresh air into the room. I had a good stay and recommend the hotel, in principle, but my stay was unfortunately marred by the chemical miasma in the bedroom area.

Such a lovely hotel. Right in the heart of Sheffield. We couldn’t have asked for more. On the doorstep of the Cathedral and Winter Gardens to name but a few. It seems silly to say but the only issue we had was the tv! It had bbc1 but not 2, itv or channel 4. Very strange. Would still highly recommend

Not good

A 3 night stay, electric went out in room, no phone in room to contact reception, had to down from 5th floor to LG to complain, had to move room, so had to pack up and unpack again. Meal in restaurant arrived without vegetable, asked for it to be provided, not available offered others but not acceptable. Ordered breakfast to be delivered to room, the card wasn’t collected so no breakfast arrived, meant I was late leaving. Staff rather non committal. I have stayed in Radisson hotels, this by far the worst experience.

Very nice hotel. Spacious shower, comfortable bed, nice room layout. Excellent standard of food for breakfast. Positionally ideal for city centre, and only a ten minute stroll to train station.

Could do better

Nice stay but could do better, new hotel so everything was clean, I arrived a bit earlier at midday and just checked if it was possible any of the rooms were ready, the receptionist said yes but check-in before 3pm would be an extra £25 each, she did let us leave our luggage though so we didn't have to cart it all over the place. As for the rooms they were clean and serviceable and a good shower but I would have expected better sound proofing though as I was woken at midnight by a loud lady next door on the phone till the early hours of the morning also not sure why they decided to put a big door stop in the middle of the bathroom floor, quite dangerous and not necessary. Breakfast was the usual hotel fair, nothing special just the fry up which was luke warm and it was all a bit disjointed, fresh juice in one area, different breakfast cereals dotted around in different areas and nobody clearing up any plates at the table.
