Spotlessly clean, a warm welcome upon arrival with polite, friendly staff. Bar understaffed, waited over 20 minutes for drinks, as a goodwill gesture they were not charged, good customer service. Good breakfast choice, again appeared understaffed, however the staff that were there were very helpful.

Poor.

This hotel did not live up to the reputation of a Radisson hotel and does not deserve its four star rating. It’s location is great, within walking distance of all the city center amenities. The room was spacious as we were allocated an accessible room with walk in wet room, unfortunately that’s the best I can say. The toilet did not flush properly, there was no plug for the sink meaning we had to wash in running water, not eco friendly and it leaked all over the floor! The bedroom had not been cleaned properly as there was a lot of glitter over the floor and on furnishings. As we checked in late and were only staying one night we reported this the next morning at check out and although the receptionist was very polite and apologetic she asked us to send in any complaints to reception via email. We are still awaiting a reply.

The Hotel is in a very good central location. Upon arrival we were given to room cards for room 143 unfortunately neither of them worked so a trip back to reception to exchange. The room was a Superior grade and was a good size and looked new. Comfy super king size bed, it’s a shame that most of the flooring was Laminate or LVT as this made it cold to walk on. The view from the window was like looking from a prison, the derelict John Lewis and multi story car park looking very sad. We were staying on the first floor in what they call a superior room so I was expecting a slightly better view. The biggest complaint was the laundry lorry parking outside our window then proceeding to load and unload laundry at 06:15am. This went on for the best part of 45mins which wasn’t ideal on a Sunday morning. Upon checkout I voiced my complaint to the receptionist who told me if I wanted any sort of redress I’d have to email the manager.
