The beds were like sleeping in craters no support , the pillows were hard , the room was hot, the electrical outlet beside the bed did not work . I had to select poolside room as I use a cane and your website said no elevator , the pool was advertised to close at 9 but was open past 10 so noisy , there was a lot of running upstairs after 10 . Overall very disappointed. On a positive note the staff were nice and we had a lovely supper in the lounge

Entire hotel had a weird smell, like the carpets have never been cleaned. Toilet seat in room was all chewed up and dirty. Most of the clientele was drunk, tons of kids running down hallways. The only saving grace was the staff was great.

We travelled as a family with a 5 and 3 year old. The outside was dirty, and lots of garbage around. The lobby was nice and clean and the front desk staff was friendly. The room was okay. We weren’t expecting a luxury room by any means, so it was mostly what we expected. There was a bit of mould around the shower area. The walls are paper thin and you can hear the conversations happening in the next room, so be prepared for that. The waterslide is not open during the week except from 5 to 10pm and it’s open during the day on weekends. We didn’t know this ahead of time so we never even got to use it. On weekends it was incredibly busy as they have a couple of birthday parties going on. We did go to the pool area, the kiddie pool’s water is incredibly cold, but the hot tub was nice and warm. We saw a cockroach by the pool towels and this made us not want to try out the restaurant by the pool. Overall it’s an okay place to sleep for the price, just wish we had known about the waterslide hours ahead of time since that was a big reason we booked this hotel.

Clean quiet room, nice dining room and bar, pool and hot tub looked great didn't get time for it, big hotel and got lots of steps lol as you can only enter by the main entrance for security reasons but we did feel safe because of that. We would stay there again.

The room was fair enough. Even though i was assigned to a non smoking room, the pillows, bed and room smelled of cigarette smoke. The staff were friendly and helpful though, but if i ever decide to come and visit Thunder Bay again, I would definitely choose another hotel to stay in.
