The stay was wonderful. The room was very fresh, clean and easy to navigate. The common area was always clean and easy to access everything. When I visit my family again, I will be back.

The room was very quaint and loved the way it was set up and decorated. Very clean and had everything we needed. Very fresh clean smell the minute we walked in. Little set up for coffee and snacks was soo cute and had everything we needed. Definitely is the place to say at if in the area. We had a wedding to attend and our stay was perfect.

We actually visit family which is 100 miles round trip and we choose to stay at Roots retreat. I’m not much for the long drive everyday we are visiting the area k but these people make it worth it every visit. You can’t ask for a cozy, more comfortable and homy place than Roots Retreat. This place is as clean as I’ve ever seen and we couldn’t ask for anymore than what was given to us. These people go above and beyond to make your stay easy and comfortable and checking in is at your fingertips and no dealing with lines or rude employees. This is the place to stay if ever around Seymour, Tx.

Hands down the greatest place i have ever stayed at... i have stayed in the expensive 5 star hotels where you pay to park and valet and yada yada yada... this place tops all of my past stays it made me feel right at home, full access to a kitchen/chill spot FREE to wash clothes!! Semi truck to rv parking. Free grab and go breakfast and snacks all day everyday. And the owners, sweetest couple i have met in a while, very down to earth, understanding and just sweet as can be... prices... lets just say they are way under priced if i may say so my self. Thank yall for an amazing stay and many more to come.

This is a perfect get-away hotel. It is well decorated and so charming. We will be coming back for a girl's weekend. The owner was so polite and helpful and made sure I had everything i needed for a late arrival. Adorable place!

This is my 3rd time to stay here this year! It is down the street from my parents and it is amazing! I brought a friend last time and my sister this time.
