Lovely apartment in the historic district of Seville (+ WiFi & AC)

Definitely the best of apartment is its location. It is located in a quiet pedestrian street of the old Sevillana Jewry. You can walk everywhere, including the cathedral, Calle Betis, Torre del Oro, Plaza Nueva, Alameda de Hércules etc. In addition, both public transports and taxi have a very easy conection from to the airport or train station to the apartment. The house has a typical Andalusian balcony and three large windows overlooking the street. Smoking inside the apartment is not allowed, you may use the balcony to smoke.

Awesome location

We are 70 retired travelers and have lived in many properties.Pro. Location in the middle of an exciting active area and easy walk to beautiful historic area. Easy walk to public transport. Very livable for two people.Nice feel of a typical spanish apartment in an old bldg. has an elevator.Con. Poor heating for winter, dark apartment designed for keeping sunshine out in warm summers.Overall we enjoyed our.stay. All kinds of restaurants and shops up and down pedestrian only streets. We love Sevilla and enjoyed our month in this apartment. Pros. Definitely outweigh cons.Fran and his parents are lovely people. Dolores (mom) offered some great suggestions on sites not to be missed!

Home away from home

PERFECT LOCATION

This apartment is in a PERFECT location to discover the glory of Seville. Just two right turns when leaving the apartment and you are in the most delightful square. One right and one left turn and a brief walk by some charming stores and you are in the Alfalfa neighborhood which bubbles with charm. I cannot stress enough how conveniently located this apartment is. We could walk to the Giralda and the Alcazar Real within ten minutes. The Parasol was almost around the corner. Our stay was enhanced by the ability to return to the apartment in the middle of the day and rest. Seville has a thriving cafe culture and there are so many places to eat and watch the people. Our stay was enhanced by the kindness of our hosts.

The best of Andalusia

After more than 15 years of using VRBO (and its predecessor sites), this property is probably the best we have ever rented. Seville is a wonderful city, and this apartment is fantastically located, appointed and is lacking for absolutely nothing. Despite its location it has plenty of space, especially for a couple, and the photos provide a reliable guide for prospective guests. Fran is a very prompt and responsive host, and his parents were very welcoming - the apartment immediately feels like a home away from home. I cannot recommend this apartment enough - you will thoroughly enjoy your time there.

Location and Price

This lovely little apartment is perfectly situated on a quiet narrow side street of the old town, steps from a busy plaza with restaurants, cafes and shops. It is a 5-10 minute walk north to Las Setas and a 10-15 minute walk south to the monuments district - the cathedral, Real Alcazar etc. Pictures of the apartment are very accurate. High ceilings, Dolores' colourful artwork, comfy couches made this a pleasant cozy place to return at the end of the day. We stayed in early March; with two space heaters and sunny days, it was quite comfortable. Well-provisioned (read the details online), it provided most of what we needed for our stay in glorious Sevilla. Owners are helpful and easy to contact. The only challenge was finding the street on our first day. Our taxi let us off at the Plaza de la Alfalfa which is actually a couple of blocks from the street. Once we realized that we had to walk down Calle Alcaiceria de la Loza to the Plaza Jesus de la Pasion where the street began (Bar Europa is on the corner), it was easy to navigate. All in all, this apartment is an amazing bargain for what it offers.

Wonderful location

The location of this property couldn’t be better. It’s on a quiet street, yet in the center of everything. And Seville is truly spectacular. The hosts are great and the apartment is lovely. However, it was chilly in February because there is no central heating. There are 2 space heaters which helped, but if you are used to robust American heating, it can feel uncomfortable. The apartment is also dark since the buildings are close together which doesn’t allow for much sun. This is an advantage in the summer but not in the winter. We would stay in this apartment again, just not in January or February. Overall, we had a terrific time and the apartment contributed to that.

Our stay

Accommodation was in great location, however dark and cold only two small radiators. The shower did not supply enough hot water for one shower the second had to be 20 mins later. The washing machine door has to be fiddled with to get it to work. The voiles don’t really open. There is no headboard in the spare room so your head is against the artwork. The view is on to the street and apartment directly opposite. No real balcony barely standing room. All small things however put together I would not stay there again I’m sorry. Location great, host great apartment very clean.

Location, Location, location

This is a fabulous location to explore Sevilla. It is in the heart of the Barrio, close to many cafes and restaurants. But the apartment itself is on a very quiet alley. We loved staying there. It is comfortable and nicely decorated, including with lovely artwork by one of the owners. The building is well maintained and has an elevator. We were there for the week between Christmas and New Years and enjoyed the festive lights and street scenes throughout the Barrio. Our 27 year old son was with us part of the week and the apartment easily accommodated 3 of us.

Best apartment in the city!

And the hosts are wonderful, too! The location cannot be beat. The apartment is fully-equipped and extremely comfortable and secure. We spent two weeks walking the entire old city, visiting every museum and historical site and it was always a pleasure to come home to the apartment, after a little drink and tapas at the corner Bar Europa. We’ll be back, as soon as we possibly can!

Great for a short or long stay.

The location of the very clean comfortable apartment is amazing, right in the centre of Seville yet tucked away on a quiet pedestrian street. The size was perfect for two adults for four weeks. The extra bedroom/ office gave us the space for study and household chores, e.g. laundry. The building was well maintained & felt safe. Thanks Fran & your parents for making our stay stress-free.

Middle of pedestrianized area

The property was as advertised. It is on the first floor (2nd floor for Americans), with an elevator. Purely pedestrian street -- the taxi let us off in the Plaza de Jesus de la Pasión (Plaza de Pan), and we walked 100 metres. We used the small bedroom as an office. There's a stove top, but no oven (altho there is a microwave). Lots of nearby restaurants. Dolores and Fran were really good -- the one problem we had got fixed very quickly.

Pristine apartment. Top notch appliances and absolute comfort. Safe and secure. Close to all the action.. walking distance to points of interest, stores, restaurants. Comfortable and charming apartment in perfect location

This apartment exceeded our expectations. It is ideally located to enjoy the main attractions of Seville but still very quiet. Care has been taken to maximize the space and ensure you have everything you need to be comfortable. The communications throughout were excellent and checkin and checkout were very easy. The apartment feels homey and not sterile and benefits from the charming art throughout that is done by the owner.

This apartment was in a great location- we walked everywhere. The owners were so welcoming and helpful- even had a basket with essentials for your first day there and lots of helpful information for visiting Sevilla. The apartment was decorated with beautiful artwork by the owner. It was a pleasant apartment and in a great central location. We walked everywhere! Pubs and restaurants out your door but it was on a quiet street in a very nice area. Highly recommend this apartment for your long or short term stay in Sevilla!

We enjoyed our stay in Seville. We could walk to all parts of town with ease. The food was fantastic. The house was super nice clean and had all the amenities. It was quite warm getting to 90 degrees during the day so the air conditioning was a must. Very cool and comfortable. We could turn it off at night.

Great location, neat and clean, artistic details

We are not new to Seville since we have family and friends in town. It was Holy Week and could experience it first hand. The property is accesible, super neat, clean, art work in every room, comfortable, heating consoles (yes, it was pretty cold.), and well-lit. Our flights were delayed and the owners accommodated and welcomed us at almost midnight. They were so kind that even bought some breakfast goodies considering we would not be able to purchase anything at that time. All historic sites are walking distance and you are in the middle of the action. Great bars and stores are found as you walk to the end of the alley. The cobblestone alley where it is located, Siete Revueltas, gives the area an antique feel. We have recommended this property already to friends who will be visiting Seville and would definitely reserve it in the future.

Wonderful Stay

Great stay and great host.

We loved this apartment and Delores was so generous and left us everything we could possibly need to start off with. The apartment was a home from home and Delores artwork was wonderful. The position of the apartment right in the middle of the old town of Sevilla was great, and so convenient especially as we are not so young any more. I have to say this is the best apartment out of the many we have stayed in, around the world, everything we could possibly want. Well done Delores and thank you so much for your generosity, thanks also to Fran for being such a good interpreter.
