This may be a four star hotel but I think the hotel and the staff are definitely five stars. I picked the Legado Alcazar primarily for its location to the major sites such as the Cathedral of Seville and the Royal Alcazar Palace which is a five minute walk from our hotel. We arrived at midnight on a Saturday, and we were warmly greeted by Nacho, who proceeded to give us a map and outlined the areas of interest. Our room overlooked the Royal Alcazar Garden in the Old Quarter and was spacious, clean and well-appointed. The furnishings are new and the beds were great. In the late afternoons, the peacocks sun themselves in the gardens, and sometimes even jump on the adjoining patios of the hotel rooms (especially during mating season). The breakfasts (which were included in the price of the stay) were very hearty and healthy with an emphasis on local produce and cuisine. If you can't tolerate dairy, be sure to ask for soy milk BEFORE they bring you your breakfast. The hotel staff including Clara and Alegria were very friendly and eager to chat with us. I hope to go back to Seville to see more of this beautiful city and its people, I will definitely stay at the Hotel Legado. The hotel offers a discount for repeat customers. The only thing I would suggest is that they offer a more reliable room service option at night for those travelers who are too tired to go out. However, they do allow food delivery services to deliver from a number of restaurants in the city.
