*** The entire Smoky Mountain area is very hilly (After all, it IS the Smoky Mountains!) so do yourself a favor and download an "offline map" in your G-oogle Maps program. This will let you navigate to our cabin and around the area even if you don't have cell coverage. Neat, right??!
To do this, it's easy:
1. Open the G-oogle Maps app and log in. 2. Search for Pigeon Forge. Zoom in/out so that the map you see contains everything from Gatlinburg on the bottom to Sevierville on the top. Don't be afraid to zoom way out because it'll get everything in between.
3. On iPhone: Tap the name, tap More.., select "Download Offline Map > Download" On Android: Tap the name, select Download, click Download
FYI: The very last stretch of road leading to the cabin is a bit steep, so if there is hard ice on the roads (very rare as the sun burns it off) you'd want 4wd. But I'd give that advice for any mountain cabin and not just this one.

We loved our stay. The cabin was clean, and as pictured in the listing. Our host, Justin was very responsive and pleasant to communicate with. We would love to stay again.
We stayed here for the night while traveling from Florida back to Iowa. The location is breathtaking and our host was welcoming and accommodating. Great cabin to enjoy!!
Very nice cabin with excellent communication of the host Justin.
We enjoyed our stay in this cabin. Host welcomes dogs which was a plus for us. Justin was an excellent host with providing quick responses to all messages sent to him. Would stay again and highly recommend.
If you’re looking for somewhere where relaxation and quiet is your goal, this is it! Secluded, surrounded by nature, and we got to bring our furbabies. Perfect location as we were close to town but could enjoy down time in peace and beauty! Loved it!
This cabin is absolutely beautiful, looks as shown in pictures! Well supplied and spacious kitchen. We had a great time there and would stay there again . Host was very nice and great communication . Loved that we could bring our fur babies !! Would definitely recommend. The road into cabin is a little tight and curvy but worth it !!
Amazing location, close to Pigeon Forge. Beautiful drive. Host has great communication and wants to ensure you have an amazing time! Cabin is nicely furnished and very comfortable. Lots to do even if you choose to not go anywhere.
The 10 digit access code to lock and unlock the unit is cumbersome, there are no dishcloths and there is a light smell coming from the shower drain on the bottom floor. Otherwise excellent comfortable unit, super clean and lots of privacy.
We got there at around 5:30 pm and it had already started snowing and was almost completely dark. Our little 4-cylinder Nissan Rogue could not make it up the hill in snow. It was freezing cold. My wife and I had our two dogs with us and a car full of our belongings. We realized we were stuck there and would have to pack the stuff, via multiple trips, up this snow and ice covered mountain (at least a quarter mile incline) in the dark and freezing cold. This took around an hour. We both struggled to maintain our balance so as not to fall and break and leg or a wrist as we traversed this place in the dark. The first thing we were greeted by inside the cabin was a handwritten note saying “The toilet seat is broken so please be careful. Enjoy your stay.” This would have cost 20 to replace at Home Depot or Lowe’s. We had to walk upstairs to use the other bathroom every time we needed it. The seat was completely disconnected from the toilet. Instead of fixing this before we arrived or not renting the place out at all, they left a note. The listing also mentioned nothing about needing an all-wheel or 4WD vehicle. It said simply “a car is needed to access this property.”The dishwasher was broken. The sauna did not work. The internet barely worked. We were literally trapped there until we paid 300 for a tow truck. Both VRBO and the owner have been completely standoffish about the reimbursing us for this nightmare. BUYER BEWARE.
Pros:
*Great communication; very professional
*Beautiful cabin and clean
*Comfy beds and furniture
*Nice Location, close to small shops and good food
*Pool access was awesome and close to cabin
Cons:
*Water pressure issue that seemed to be known to owner (?) Ordered part to repair without coming to the cabin. So if you ran a sink/shower/wash anywhere, no water was available in any other place.
*Internet was incredibly slow. Would not recommend if you have a high demand job that requires you to be in touch. I don't know what options are available there so I don't hold it against the host. This is just helpful insight to those who do travel business, especially in IT like my husband.
*Hand soaps were watered down; Hand Soap is like $1.50. So I found that not properly replacing hand soap on $300+ per night rental properties to be crazy LOL.
Neutral:
*Instructions on fridge contradicted instruction on listing and in message. We just followed the message instructions so hopefully that's fine.
*Pool info was not readily available but the owner was nice to provide it. (it just takes a long time to get the message because the internet is bad and there isn't much cell reception.)
*Driveway was a tad steep and with wet moss sometimes slippery. We were still able to get up and down with little issues.
Overall we liked it, just not sure if we would book again though. We just didn't get the "Fantastic" experience like the other guests had but still made the time count. Thank you!
