The house consists of two floors. The ground floor consists of a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, a small office and garage. The stairs leading to the upper floor to a hall open to a kind of indoor garden. In the main floor are the kitchen and the living room, consisting of a living area with fireplace and dining area, facing south and with direct connection to the terrain and the pool and with stunning views. Also on this floor are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Outside and adjacent to the dining area there is a porch for meals and an extensive lawn. To the south-west side is the pool with a wooden fence and protected from the winds.
The views are stunning: to the valley and mountain in the south, Lisbon in the north and the west the sunset in sea, after an extensive pine forest.
Outside are the pool with 10x5m, a large trampoline and a basketball table. There are available 4 adult bicycles and 2 children bicycles for walks nearby. Inside there are 2 tv, table games, video games, piano and ping-pong table.

An amazing stay!

Beautiful location; amazing house; everything you could need and more. The house was incredibly well -resourced - bbq, bikes, table tennis, great pool, and all the board games you could imagine. We also had a two year old - the place was safe and well equipped for her and another baby. We had the best stay!

Summer holiday in a beautiful villa on the edge of arabida

Amazing stay: beautiful house, well maintained and well equiped and super clean. Beautfiul scenery. I can only recommand this house which is the perfect location for a family stay in the surroundings of Lisbon (40' away and barely 1h to the airport). And the hostsare super friendly and helpful with any question we had.

Portugal vacation

My family stayed in this beautiful house for a week. Our ages were between 3 and 75. The children were very happy with all the choices for fun. They spent lots of time on the trampoline and in the pool. The older ones had fun playing ping pong too. The house was very well equipped and the owners added many little extras for us. Thank you to Paula a friendly, helpful and excellent host.

Great House - Great Holiday

The house is very clean, super organized and well equipped with everything you may need for a great family holiday. The outdoor patios and pool deck are nicely furnished and generously equipped. The pool area is fenced making it ideal for small children. The owners, Pedro and Paula were at the house to welcome us and show us around when we arrived. They invited us to use everything in the property that we needed to make the holiday a very memorable one including children's toys and beach equipment. Pedro and Paula have compiled a file of nearby things to do, restaurants, supermarkets and so on and were a source of local knowledge. Thank you, Pedro and Paula for being so generous with your house, its contents and personal items. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay.

Excellent séjour

Excellent séjour grâce à l’accueil des hôtes Paula et Pedro, et grâce à une maison suffisamment grande pour 10 et très bien agencée et équipée. La maison est idéalement située dans un quartier très calme avec une tres belle vue sur le parc naturel Arabida… les commerces et supermarchés les plus proches sont seulement à 10 minutes en voiture. À recommander !

Perfect place for a nice big family vacation!

The house is very spacious and gives plenty of room for everyone to enjoy joint activities such as board-games, dinners, playing in the big pool while it also accommodates to moments of privacy. It´s situated up on a quiet hillside and the view is majestic, we enjoyed the sunsets over the ocean far away and seeing the glittering lights of stars and Lisbon. The kitchen is very well equipped to cook for big families, the house in general is generously equipped with all you need, from airco to laundry machine and detergents, for the first time in all this years of renting houses we had a Wifi with both great coverage and capacity! We enjoyed playing the piano, chess, table tennis, and taking trips to the beaches in the neighborhood. Paula and Pedro are very generous and helpful and gives you all the information and help for you to enjoy your dream vacation. I highly recommend this house and hope to come back some day! :)

Excellent home base to explore Alentejo and Lisbon district

We stayed at this house for over a week, a party of six, three family generations. The house is on a hilltop in a very quiet surroundings and has excellent views. It is large, pleasant and well equipped. If you want to see Alentejo and explore Lisbon area, it is an excellent base, as long as you have a car of course. The hosts are welcoming, knowledgeable & responsive & provided us with timely advice on the area and local wine (visits and tastings to at least close by Bacalhoa winery is a must!). We saw Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, Evora, megalithic site at Almendres Cromlech, Setubal, Sesimbra, Cabo Espichel, huge secluded Praia do Meco beach, Sado natural reserve and Arrabida National park -- the latter is nearby and driving on N-379-1 is unforgettable for its views on both sides of the road and overall beauty.

Magnifique!

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique. La maison et l ensemble de la propriété , tout était parfait et dans un cadre très agréable . Nous étions 10 et nous sentions à l aise et pas du tout à l etroit . Piscine assez grande. Les propriétaires Paula et Pedro sont adorables, très à l écoute et très généreux en laissant plusieurs petites attentions . Maison très bien équipée en vaisselle et tout le reste. Juste s il faut dire qqchose il manque 2 ou 3 transats ou pouvoir s allonger lorsque on est 10 personnes. A recommander vivement sans hésitation! Vous êtes parfaits!

We had an amazing stay at the property. We were greeted with great warmth even though it was 1 am. They showed us around the house and had a folder full of information as well. The property was not lacking in anything, a food/ drink package was provided etc. Our hosts were very helpful and genuinely cared that we had a great time. La casa es perfecta para pasar unos días, ya sea con niños o sin ellos

Pasamos una semana con cuatro niños pequeños y estuvinos como en casa. La propiedad es perfecta, tiene de todo, cuidada al detalle, no echamos en falta nada y eso que estábamos fuera de casa. Las camas comodisimas, ni un ruido ya que la casa está en plena naturaleza. Los niños disfrutaron muchísimo con la cama elástica que tienen y con la piscina que es un lujo. Tienen todo tipo de juegos en casa para los niños. En cuanto al entorno y las playas una delicia, poco masificadas y muy bien cuidadas al ser un parque natural. Hay muchas rutas para bicis, senderismo, en fin que es una zona que hay que explorar, nosotros sin duda repetiremos, porque a parte de que la casa sea perfecta y el entorno los propietarios son encantadores, de lo más hospitalarios, siempre pendientes de si nwcesitas algo o si estás bien. A la llegada nos tenían preparado algo de fruta y galletas para los niños y pan y queso de la zona. En resumen, 100% recomendable, ninguna pega. Volveremos!!!

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances à deux familles dans la cette magnifique maison, très bien située. Tout est parfait, la maison est vraiment très grande et belle; nous avons beaucoup apprécié la piscine, le trampoline, la table de ping pong et tous les jeux pour les enfants. Entorno, casa y arrendadores maravillosos

La casa está ubicada en plena serra de Arrabida, un entorno precioso y único, cerca de playas y rincones muy bellos. Es espacio muy tranquilo, bastante aislado y muy luminoso. Es muy acogedora, estupendamente equipada y bien pensada en su distribución. La suerte nos ha acompañado con el clima y hemos podido disfrutar de la piscina muy soleada. Es una casa apta para cualquier edad. Hemos estado con mi madre que tiene movilidad reducida y ha estado muy cómoda gracias a su accesibilidad.Tenemos que agradecer a Isabel, Joao, Pedro y Paula los mil detalles para que la casa estuviera a punto y su disponibilidad y gentileza en todo momento.

une villa très agréable

Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable dans cette villa qui dispose de toutes les commodités. très bien situé, proche des plages et de tout commerce. Un beau jardin disposant de l'ombre nécessaire en cas de forte chaleur et une piscine suffisamment grande pour parents et enfants. L'accueil des plus agréable avec de petites attentions qui confirme la générosité des Portugais. Nous ne manquerons pas d'y retourner à la prochaine occasion. Merci encore à la famille Martins

Uitstekend vakantiehuis voor grotere groep

We hebben twee weken vakantie genoten met twee gezinnen. Het huis is erg ruim en prima onderhouden. Het is een uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor dagtripjes in de omgeving. Lissabon is prima aan te rijden net als verschillende mooie steanden in de buurt (Arrabida, Meco, Sesimbra). Iets verder maar wel een aanrader is om een dagje naar het schiereiland Troja te gaan met de veerpont. Een dagje 'thuis'blijven is ook prima te doen, heerlijk luieren aan het zwembad, tafeltennissen of trampolinespringen. De kinderen vonden het geweldig. De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze geven graag tips voor een leuk dagje uit bijvoorbeeld. Wat ook prima was, was de broodservice: geld in de broodzak en om 7:00 lagen er heerlijk verse broodjes klaar. Wij zouden zo terug gaan!

Heerlijk vakantiehuis voor grote groep

Twee weken lang hebben wij genoten van een heerlijke vakantie in dit grote, prima onderhouden en netjes verzorgde huis. We waren met een groep van 8: 4 volwassenen en 4 kinderen. Dit huis is een prima uitvalsbasis voor allerlei tripjes in de omgeving. Meestal brachten we de ochtenden heerlijk luierend aan het zwembad door om dan 's middags op pad te gaan. Lissabon ligt op een half uurtje rijden. Op minder dan een half uur liggen verschillende mooie stranden (Arrabida, Meco, Sesimbra). Iets verder, maar wel een aanrader, is om een dagje naar het schiereiland Troja te gaan ( oversteken met de pont). De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en gaven diverse nuttige tips. Ook prima verzorgd is het volgende: iedere dag om 7:00 werden heerlijk verse broodjes om 7:00 aan huis gebracht. Een dagje 'thuis' blijven was ook heerlijk, zeker ook voor de kinderen. Zwemmen, tafeltennissen of lekker op de trampoline springen. En dan 's avonds lang buiten zitten op de veranda. Kortom: een aanrader, we zouden zo teruggaan!

C'était parfait !

Très belle maison, bien décorée, confortable et très agréable. La piscine est grande et nous avons profité des vélos et de la table de pingpong. Il faut en effet une voiture pour descendre aux plages ou faire les courses. C'est une belle adresse pour qui veux profiter des plages et visiter Lisbonne. Maison très agréable, excellent accueil

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances dans cette maison où nous nous sommes sentis chez nous. Nous avons été très très bien accueillis: les propriétaires sont charmants et avaient préparé pleins de petites attentions . La maison est spacieuse, toute équipée. Les extérieurs sont très agréables, avec une grande piscine et un trampoline dont les enfants ont beaucoup profité. L'endroit est vraiment calme et nature dans un petit village en bordure de la Serra Da Arrabida, bien placé pour profiter des belles plages de la péninsule, de la mer mais également assez proche de Lisbonne ( 40 mn) - attention voiture indispensable. Que dire de plus si ce n'est que la semaine a été trop courte pour profiter de la maison et des environs, il faut idéalement prévoir 2 semaines. Encore merci à Isabel, Paula, Pedro et Joao pour leur gentillesse.
