wonderfull to stay behind the walls

Loved this place. We stayed in room with balcony overlooking the delightful tree covered patio. Great place to relax with drinks. It was great to stay in the town particularly after tourists left. Only caveat...you will have to park car in outside parking lots and walk into town. Hotel will send you instructions and if you call they may provide assistance. We just spent one night so just carried in back packs

Being inside the walls of the city gave the hotel a unique feeling. Parking was tough, but we found a spot fairly close to the property.

The hotel does warn you about parking so that should not be a surprise. Everyone from the front desk to the people in the breakfast room are super nice, friendly and helpful. The balcony by the castle wall is unique and the green tree is just calming . Balcony is a great place to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon tea. Highly the hotel.

Very glad we went off the beaten path to this gem of a boutique hotel. It was a little more difficult to get to since cars can not be within the castle walls but once you’re there it’s well worth it. Had a corner room with a wall of windows looking at the castle walls. Explored the area and walked all along the castle walls. Lots of cute little restaurants and shops close by. Take the extra time and effort to go here….you won’t be disappointed!

The hotel is near perfection. Inside the walls, the staff sent helpful parking information ahead of time and it was a short walk to the hotel. Quaint and lovely place, rooms are a great size, clean. Highly recommend to solo or couples.

Traveling with family - total 4. We got a building in front of reception with 2 rooms and a few other rooms - large space. The toilets and showers were interesting, 3-4 of each like a gym. Location is within the walled city and great. Only remember you need to carry your luggage from the wall perimeter to the hotel which is about a 10 min haul.

No possibility to approach the hotel by car. No service to carry the suite cases from tha car park located 1/4 mile away. Poor food menu offered at lunch time. Television screen on all chains blurry, snowy.

Lovely Obidos Hotel

The hotel is very pretty, nicely decorated. Ricardo at the front desk was very helpful. My bed was extremely comfortable and a nice breakfast was included. Just travel light, leave your large luggage in the car since you have to park off site.
