Can't say enough about how lovely this propetty is, or how wonderful the staff are. The housekeepers, Kadek & Dea took great care of us & Kadek cooked us some delicious meals. The driver( also Kadek!), was great, picking us up from the cruise port & taking us on a few outings. Also, the gardenets/pool guys & the nightly security guard. Of course, Budi, the property manager was quick to respind yo any queries. The bed was a little hard for us, but they were able to put a mattress pad on after the 1st night, which was much more comfortable. The house, pool & grounds are just like the photos-beautiful. We were looking for a quiet, relaxing week after a busy month of travelling & that's exactly what we got. You can hear the broadcasting of the muslim call to prayers several times a day(they apparently have speakers at the mosques). We brought a Bluetooth speaker with us & just played our own music, so it was fine. I would highly recommend staying here & if we return to Bali, we certainly would stay here again. Also, Ayu & Trisna from Jasmine Spa, gave us several fantastic massages, right at the villa(and much cheaper than back home on Canada!)

The Mawar exceeded my expectations for a lovely, chill, 3 weeks. Petu, the cook/laundress/house keeper, took her job seriously and ensured. the place incredibly clean. Her food was so very yummy that we never ate in a restaurant over the 3 weeks, I visited. She took delight in surprising me with treats and special extras that I had not idea were part of the experience, aka fresh fruit smoothies, poolside each afternoon. Petu, the grounds and pool keeper, was also very attentive, kind and very concerned, ensuring we were always happy. We had only one afternoon, rain out during monsoon, so don’t let weather predictions dissuade. Beach access is a bit tricky and the black sand beach has debris and trash roll in with the tide. It does NOT smell and is all part of the experience. I spent so much time in the cabana, watching the fishing boats and distant cruise ships, and of course…many delightful Balinese massages. Aside from the great day of dolphin sightings. Excursions were mostly at least an hour away, with Very helpful driver, Kadek. He was a safe driver with lots of ideas for secret local gems. The Snorkeling, about 1.5 hr drive to the east was really, really excellent. I went twice during my stay and could have easily gone more. I enjoy the entire experience and getting to know the staff was extra special.

Thank you Rolf, Dini and Ilu for taking care of every little details and requests from us. We all had an amazing stay and love the property. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, away from everything, this is it! Rolf and Dini responded to our inquiries very quickly. Rolf was kind enough to allow for extra family members. Dini arranged all our transfers and excursions. (Best snorkeling we’ve seen in a long time). Ilu and assistants cooked wonderful meals every time. The only thing that worked against us was the weather in rainy season. The days of excursions it rained, The days we wanted to relax it was sunny so we enjoyed the property and pool!
