This hotel was a very affordable and pleasant experience as a solo traveler. It was kept extremely clean every day. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was nice. Upstairs the snacks/coffee and rooftop were a nice touch. For my first time in Seoul I thought the location was fine. Sometimes it felt a little off the beaten path, but overall it was quiet and not touristy. It was very accessible to the subway and the airport bus was on the corner. The king size room had very little floor space for more than one open luggage so I would caution anybody sharing a room as it may be difficult. All in all it was a positive experience here and I do recommend it.

Room smelt a little like fish sauce, but the room was very clean. Our other friends who we went with room smelt fine so may have been just our side. The staff were so nice and helpful! Would recommend!

We stayed here for a short visit during our final days in Seoul and the hotel really impressed us. The bed was large and super comfortable. There were only two pillows but they were very comfortable. The room had great lighting controls, big windows that opened for fresh air and an incredibly large TV. Netflix was not available but YouTube and other services worked fine. The bathroom was very nice with a strong rainfall shower, a big mirror and plenty of space. The location was excellent, close to Myeongdong and near subways, buses and the airport limousine. Staff were very friendly and spoke great English. The room came with slippers, plenty of towels, a safe, a mini fridge, a hair dryer and more. The hotel itself was beautifully decorated and modern. There was also a gym, restaurant, laundry room, shared kitchen and parking, although we did not use them. Lots of shops and convenience stores are nearby. For negatives the air conditioning was poor and the room became very hot, plus the unit made a rattling noise that disturbed sleep. The lift broke as we were leaving which almost made us late for the airport bus. The hairdryer was also flimsy and kept cutting out. Overall the hotel was modern, comfortable and in a great location, with a few issues that could be improved.

We stayed 6 nights and found the room very clean, with nice towels. We had the sun streaming into our room every morning so we never felt cold !We asked for an extra set of pillows and they were provided. The location is great - quiet and not noisy , near bus stops and walking distance to Myeongdong ( we could take buses to Myeondong or other locations) We used the limousine bus to travel to Incheon airport.It was really great to have use of the laundry washers and dryers . The reception staff were helpful and courteous. We had arrived early , about 1.30 pm and they said we could check into our room because it was ready. We had the standard King room . There wasn't much space but we managed to put both our large luggage bags on the floor and have them opened and stil have some space to walk to the bathroom and door. We would be happy to stay at New Blanc Central Myeondong again if we are in Seoul again.

Email is difficult to find and staff don't reply to any of the emails. Only one staff at reception to manage a big crowd. Bath tub at terrace was terribly maintained - mould everywhere. Snacks at the lounge were very limited. Room is very small - no space for luggage. Amenities are limited - no refill for bottled water and no toothbrushes. Location is not in myeondong area despite its name. You got to walk through a shady alley for 20 minutes to reach myeongdong shopping area.

The staff is nice, but away from the action. Had to walk a mile to get to the nearest market. The free coffee is horrible, but the TV is actually quite amazing. There is a bank, Woori, across the street for cash. Use the machine on the right though, left one is local. I would stay in a more central location next time. Unless you want to buy a scooter, not much nearby. Expedia has been really disappointing as far as accurate descriptions. Not a fan of the hotels, the tours are great though.

Room was on the smaller side; I could not fit my check-in baggage on the floor. However, room was clean and decorated well. I would not recommend breakfast - it was not worth. Wifi is public/unsecure.
