The hotel is excellent for the price, with coin laundry services, a gym and sauna, and a surprisingly tasty breakfast. Staff speak English well, and a special mention to Daisy who was very helpful indeed, assisting with a late check-out, excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour.

The Ibis is a fine, high quality hotel in the COEX Conference Center region of Seoul. It is not intended to be a fancy 5-star experience. It is intended to be a high quality base of operations, which it succeeds in doing. The rooms are spacious by Seoul standards and well appointed. The staff was extraordinarily polite and helpful. (I asked for extra clothes hangers, and they were delivered in minutes.) The internet worked fine and daily housekeeping was prompt and efficient. The hotel has a breakfast restaurant, which was very good. There are many (many) eating options within walking distance. The Ibis is conveniently located about 10-15 minute walk from the COEX conference center, which is also where you can get the airport bus to ICN. Although there are more convenient hotels adjacent to the COEX center, the Ibis was significantly less expensive while not sacrificing on quality. Jogging/running while staying at the Ibis is a bit problematic, as the sidewalks/streets are packed from morning to late evening. I found jogging before the morning traffic starts to be best.

The room I stayed in this time had been renovated inside compared to my stay here in 2022. WAY nicer bathroom etc. The rooms are still small and the breakfast is pretty standard but that is to be expected of this kind of business hotel. I recommend this hotel as an affordable base to sleep and refresh. Short walk to COEX etc.

We got in just after midnight but the reception welcomed us with a free upgrade that we didn't ask for. We left at eight the next morning so we didn't have much time to enjoy the room but it was practical with all necessities like fridge, desk, cell phone charger and a coffee maker. We had a city view as well. We did not try their breakfast buffet as it felt pricey for us. Would stay again.

The hotel itself is nice and comfortable but the room was tiny even compared to Korea standards. 2 twin beds that were so close i it made one bed. The layout of the bathroom in the room was awkward, and the bathroom itself was also awkward.
