The hotel Riviera is a great hotel. I would thoroughly recommend it for business visits. I do not recommend it for tourist visits. I had a lovely stay there and I found it challenging to get tourist information (what buses to catch etc) the staff were very helpful and tried their best. It is all about horses for courses and my thoughts were if I was going on a business trip to Seoul I would definitely stay here, but for tourism next time I would probably stay in Myeongdong

There was a spider in the bathtub, the sheets had holes in them and the mattress was of very bad quality, when showing the picture of the spider and the broke sheets the front desk just said thank you bye bye. The guy at the desk was in my opinion racist

This is my second stay at Hotel Riviera. The rooms seem a bit dated but otherwise no complaints. Staff is amazing and speak English, check in took about 3 minutes. Location is great just outside Gangnam-dong tourists areas. It is about a 20 minute walk to COEX there are a few eateries nearby. Breakfast buffet is adequate and the coffee is decent. Pool is nice and the staff was extremely helpful. I will stay here again on my next visit to Seoul for sure.
