The property is a tad small but clean. The location is very convenient since it only around a 5- minute walk from the airport bus 6015 drop off and Hoehyeon station/Namdaemun Market. There are so many dining options in the area and the hotel has posters on the wall which shows directions to nearby attractions like Namsan Tower and Myeongdong Market (around 15-minute walk).

Walking distance to the train and bus stops. They were also really nice and helpful when we checked in. We came before check in time so we left our luggages. When we got back, they were carried by the staff to our rooms. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay here again

It was great experience , the hotel down the street and restaurants all over the area .clean hotel (budget ) .the airport stops 200 meters from location .Reception lady very nice helpful for direction .Very pleased with the locationn .Landmark to find is Rex Hotel across the street . The bed and blankets were very good quality and comfortable, providing us a very good night sleep. The area is quiet and very accessible to the metro subway. Although the hotel is in the alley, they gave us excellent instructions when we booked the hotel. Staff were really helpful and courteous.

I cannot say enough good things about my stay, it was absolutely amazing. I based my stay off of reviews & could not have been happier. What made the stay even better was the proximity of where everything was located. The accessibility to transportation was also very nice. I would like to thank the owners/staff of Daeyoung Hotel, because of them I felt safe. My son & I were greeted daily and I felt comfortable enough to share my day. This truly was a fabulous trip with a fantastic stay.

I LOVED staying at Daeyoung Hotel! It was a super convenient location. They're right next to Namdaemun market and a short walk to Myeongdong, so there's a lot of cheap shopping options in the area. Plus, Hohyeon station is right at the end of the road, so it was super easy to get anywhere else! Right next to 2 CU convenient stores and LA Bab, too. Plus, the hotel itself was awesome! I got the economy single room, so it was pretty small, but it had literally everything I needed: a comfortable bed, self-controlled AC and fridge in the unit, TV with Netflix sign-in option, and a full private bathroom (no tub though, if you're looking for a place with one). They have a cute little communal kitchen/dining area on the first floor for quick meals -- I loved that I could meet other guests there! The hotel has an elevator, and so is accessible if you have trouble using the stairs, but the elevator and room doors are pretty narrow, so you might want to inquire before booking if your mobility device is wide. Finally, the staff was SO nice and accommodating! Very friendly and kind, and they were very knowledgeable about the area. If I had a question about where I could go to find something or restaurant recommendations, they had me covered. They even had umbrellas I could borrow if I needed one! Plus it was very helpful that they spoke English! Thanks, Daeyoung Hotel, for the awesome stay!

Although clean it’s an old building. As such, it comes with things as: 1)Not very good insulation, ie. you can hear toilet flush and sink water from the room next door; 2)Light switches are bad design. All on/off switches are next to the door entry. So, for example, if you want to turn the spot lights at the head of the bed you need to walk to the door; 3)The electrical plug in is the old 2 large prongs, so you need an adapter to use any electrical devices from North America if you happen to bring along. The good things are it’s close to bus/subway and local shopping/dinning, plus the service staffs are very nice.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff was so nice, the room was small but we were expecting that, but there was always enough hot water, a bidet, laundry service, an area to keep your luggage after you checked out, a small fridge in the room, a window for night air, a very comfortable bed, large towels, a blow dryer, plug ins for chargers, and a mirror and desk. We had a wonderful time, the property was super clean and our room changed every day. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!

Perfect hotel experience!
