I think this hotel must have had a recent rebranding because the shampoo bottles, mugs, and key cards say "Hotel Kenny Story". There are notices in the elevator saying that was of November 1st the restaurant is closed and housekeeping is every third day instead of every day, so I guess the hotel is struggling. My room had a kitchenette, but I couldn't cook anything because there were no plates on pans or cutlery provided, just a hob, a kettle and two mugs. My room had broken furniture and the water drained epically slowly down the drain of the sink in the bathroom. It's seen better days. But the staff were lovely, and I had four very good nights sleep.

Great service and perfect location for our weekend trip! We arrived later than our checkin time due to flight delays but the staff was very understanding and worked with us to make sure we could still get checked in after hours.

Staff was very friendly, kind and helpful. Room and location was good overall. I wish there were more parking in site. Bathroom was open shower and smelled a little musty but the rest of the room was really nice though. You use a "smart key" to open your door. I thought that was really interesting, but I think I prefer a regular key or key card because they are easier to have handy than having to pull up a link on your phone to enter your room. Overall, still a nice place to stay for the night.

Unpleasant stay in Jeju Island

I stayed 2 days at Jeju-si and thought I should stay at Seogwipo for 1 night to get closer to attractions in the south of Jeju. Don't get mixed up with another hotel of similar name, Kenny Story Inn. I ended up going to Kenny Story Inn based on the wrong address provided by Google. The 2 hotels are operated by 2 different companies. I thought 'hotel' should be better than 'inn' but I was fooled. Here are my experience: 1) Cockroach found in the room. 2) Corridor on the hotel floor was not lighted due to 'Green' initiative. Absurb! 3) Sensor-ed fluorescent light in the room is annoying. If someone needs to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, that overly bright light which was operated by motion sensor, will wake everyone up. 4) Location is not good. 5) Not enough parking space. 6) Spring mattress which you can hear when you lie on the bed. 7) Breakfast included was the only plus. I feel blessed that I was there for only 1 night. But, I guessed I deserved what I paid for. I would suggest that you book another hotel by paying a little bit more.

Nice and comfort hotel

We reached the Jeju Airport at 9.30pm by Jeju Air. We took airport limousine 600 at Gate 5. We stopped at Kyungnam New Tourist Hotel. At first we were confused with the location due to heavy rain and nightime. The hotel located at the alley of Arang Joeul Street. We took the taxi to the hotel which cost us with KRW3200. Do not confuse with Hotel Kenny Story and Kenny Story Inn. Please be mind that the front counter closed at 1 to 6 am. The female staff was good with English and very helpful with the maps. We planned to visit the Teddy Bear Museum at Jungmun Tourist Resort. We rode the bus no. 282 at bus stop at Arang joeul street which was 2 minutes from the hotel. It only costed us about KRW1150 per person. Do not worry the bus had the screen to inform the stop location and do inform the driver beforehand if you are not sure about your destination. The Olleh Everyday Market is 5 minutes by foot from the hotel. We visited the Saesom Bridge in the evening. The bridge can be reached by 28 minutes walking distance (1.2km). The breakfast was good with variety of fruits, cornflakes, soups, rice, beverages (coffee, hot chocolate, milk and juice) and bread. We were full. The overall stay in this hotel was nice and comfortable. We get to stay in the room with a double and single bed for 2 persons. The male staff help us to book a taxi to Jeju Airport with the estimated fare 30,000 to 35,000KRW. There was nearby CU convenient store to buy food. However, the parking was limitted.

Hotel is very far from Airport.

Bad experience for the following reasons:- 1) Hotel don't provide bath towels, we were given small face towels instead. 2) No packet coffee or tea 3) No floor towel to dry floor near the toilet door as water splashes over there after each shower. 4) Pillows were very soft, counter staff shows unhappiness when we requested extra pillow.
