Pan means bread in Ladin: there is an ancient but still functional bread oven outside next to the apartment. This is where the neighborhood used to gather to bake the traditional spicy house bread for themselves and their families. This was then dried and preserved in special wall racks. For you today, this means: no kneading, just resting.

Perfect location for a Dolomite adventure. We had a terrific time- multiple hike and gondola rides in the area. Absolutely gorgeous views from the apartment. The owners were kind and friendly. Would stay here again!
