Ice machines out of order and wet spillage in hallway. Otherwise thin walls, a great stay. Felt safe and secure with locked gates. Really enjoyed the outdoor space and walkable location. Coffee maker too dirty for use. Lobby morning coffee would be so gracious due to the poor condition of in room coffee makers. Otherwise,we would stay again. Thank u for pet friendliness. We would be happy to return in the future.

We will come back for sure. This is the first trip we’ve had in a hotel, and it was nice. Only thing that was disappointing was other pet owners didn’t clean up after their dogs. And that wasn’t specific to where we stayed but throughout the Promenade.

Seaside Gem

Wonderful checkin experience with Cherry. She upgraded our room and gave us great recommendations. Everything was superb and clean. Wonderful views from our room, soaker tub and cozy fireplace. We will be back! We miss Maggie’s- bring back the restaurant! Was one of the best ever restaurants on the Oregon Coast! I’ve had many so so hotel experiences in Seaside and your is a hidden gem with Cannon Beach level style, service and comfort.

We would definitely stay here again! The staff was great, and the room was very clean and a great location. It’s a very pretty area! Only cons: The bathroom had a strange smell and the room was very very fragrant when we got there (like too much spray with fragrance). The bed was pretty stiff and we are both hurting today.

Multiple Damages Upon Arrival - No Notice Given

Our room was falsely advertised, and had several damages/safety hazards that were not made clear before our arrival or during check-in. We arrived to a large top-to-bottom crack in main ocean view window, broken window screen from our 4th floor room, fireplace didn’t work, and leaky coffee maker. For all the room claimed to have, the only functioning feature was the jetted tub. When alerting the front desk right after check-in we were told damages had been there for a few weeks awaiting repair. When it’s a rainy winter weekend & you want a cozy ocean view stay with a fireplace, and none of it works, needless to say we were disappointed for what we paid. We have attempted to contact the owner of the property via email & phone immediately following our stay to resolve issues and haven’t heard back for 5 days. We knew it wasn’t one of the newly renovated rooms but we at least expected it to come functioning with what the description and pictures listed. Front desk staff were friendly but could not help with any issues and kept referring us to the owner. It’s disappointing since the hotel is in such a great location. Communication is key & it clearly wasn’t there before we arrived and hasn’t been since we have tried to seek help.

We stayed in the clock tower for one night and Lewis and Clark for the second night. The clock tower was awesome, great experience. Lewis and Clark on the other hand.. one of the blinds were broken and we couldn’t close, which faced the neighbors, so that was awkward. And we had a jetted tub but there no instructions on how to use it, we couldn’t get the jets to turn on. We tried calling the front desk multiple times and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. So that’s was a bummer but otherwise great experience and very friendly staff, you just have to talk to them in person, otherwise they are unreachable.

Seems like a decent place. Was recently updated, but seems like they update to get out of doing upkeep maintenance. We got there and toilet was clogged, found cleaning supply leftovers, as well at multiple other broken items throughout the room. Nice enough place, but for the money they charge, I'll be staying elsewhere next time.
