CHALET MUSE inspires, offers space to relax and joyfully enjoy its generous beauty. The special thing about Chalet Muse is its peaceful, quiet expanse with a room height of around 7 metres, its balcony around the house with a view of the beautiful Entlebuch.

From the lounge or dining area, you can look out over the gently rolling green (or white) hills. The spruce chalet nestles idyllically on a mountainside between green hills at the foot of rocky mountain giants in the UNESCO biosphere. In 2011, it was recognised as a model biosphere in the world "with its gentle tourism through nature and climate-friendly offers". Chalet Muse is a protected space to relax, to reflect on your own dreams and visions. If you wish, you can use the chalet as a place to work. For inspiration, there is a piano, electric guitars and literature in German, English and French. The water from the tap comes from the mountain and offers the best drinking water quality.
The Entlebuch biosphere opens up countless possibilities in the excellent air with its rolling hills, rocky mountains, lakes and streams, moorland and karst areas. Views worthy of a queen/king. Chalet Muse is looking forward to welcoming you!
There is no direct access to the house. You reach the chalet via a staircase through the grounds.

What is there to do outside Chalet Muse?
Sports activities in the surrounding area: hiking, mountaineering, climbing, golf, mountain biking, cycling, horse riding, tobogganing, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, swimming, Kneipp therapy.

Of course, the area is predestined for hiking and climbing. From the Brienzer Rothorn, the highest peak in the canton of Lucerne, there is an impressive 360° panoramic view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau and 690 other peaks. Lake Brienz shimmers green below. An aerial cableway takes you up the 2350 metres. With a bit of luck, you might spot ibex.
The adventure programme also includes organised hikes, excursions (herb picking), a variety of courses, depending on what is on offer (alphorn, watercolour painting, landscape photography, writing in the moor, mushroom picking), playgrounds, gold panning.

The area is also known as the "Wild West of Lucerne". You can feel like a cowgirl/cowboy on a horseback ride over the Schrattenflue lasting several days. Feast around the campfire. There are also riding opportunities in the spacious indoor riding centre in the village.
Next to the roller sports park for skating and biking. The panoramic tour is recommended for cycling.
Refreshment and swimming fun await in the local outdoor pool. Or in one of the many rivers and streams. There are Kneipp facilities in the nature-protected high moor areas.
If you want to work up a sweat before refreshing yourself, jog along the river on the Vita Parcours for running and strength training.

Above the house there is a barbecue area, table tennis table and a children's playground. The neighbourhood of the former holiday home estate is friendly and helpful.

Cultural events are organised in the Entlebucher Haus. The Lucerne Art and Convention Centre KKL offers renowned international events. The village has its own observatory with guided tours.

In winter, Chalet Muse is located in the centre of the ski area with a large selection of lifts, cross-country ski trails and ski schools for night skiing, tobogganing and snowboarding. Above Chalet Muse is Heiligkreuz, a "place of power". There is also a ski lift there. You can go ice skating in Langnau or Lucerne.
Back in the chalet, the fireplace provides warmth and ambience. Wood for the fire is available free of charge, even in summer.

Chalet Muse is surrounded by a garden with space for exercise and games such as badminton, yoga or whatever you fancy. In the morning, we recommend the upper garden area or you can walk about 7 minutes to the nearby forest, from there on to the First and enjoy the sunrise. There is also a pub there. In the evening, you can follow the course of the setting sun and bid farewell to the beautiful day until the red ball sets behind the wooded hill. But that's no reason to mourn, because now is the time for the stars. And the view of the starry sky from Chalet Muse is legendary!
