Lyngsaa beach, a pearl on Denmark's east coast, is considered one of the finest and most child-friendly beaches. This beautiful area, located south of Sæby, attracts people of all ages and is especially popular with families with children. The child-friendly sandy beach, where the seabed slowly changes in depth and is free of sudden "holes," makes it an ideal destination. High-quality summer houses adorn the area, harmoniously located on natural grounds in the dune landscape and plantations.



The dunes merge in certain places with open moorland, while the northern border stretches towards the Professor's Plantation - one of the east coast's most fascinating natural beauties. To the south you will find the bird reserve Stensnæs, which offers a unique experience of the local wildlife.



One of the county's largest streams, Voer Å, winds its way through the picturesque landscape and out into the Kattegat at Voerså. Here you have the opportunity to rent canoes or water bikes and explore the wonderful course of the river. Alternatively, you can visit the famous Voergaard Castle, which emits the rush of history through its ancient walls.
