Wotif Verified Review
3 / 5
The property was conveniently located near the port of Savona with easy access to many markets, shops, bars & restaurants all within a short walking distance. The rooms are clean yet small but adequate. Beds are comfortable. I did not eat in the restaurant as there many other options nearby.
The staff was sometimes friendly & welcoming & other times dismissive & not engaged or concerned with guest satisfaction & not proactive in their response. The biggest challenge was the climate control system which is inadequate as it is controlled by the reception desk regulating the temperature in the room aka "eco friendly." The air conditioning system was not working & room was excessively hot & uncomfortable for the first night requiring a room change at which time I was downgraded from the booked superior room type to standard lacking amenities. When brought to the attention of management they were dismissive & did not accept any responsibility as if it was my doing. Which it was not.
I would not stay again & would stay at another property of which there were many but outside & away from the convenience of being in the port. Guests must be able to regulate the temperature in their own rooms for many obvious reasons. This is a deal breaker issue for me me. In my many years of world travel for business & leisure I have never encountered this type of situation which indicates lack of basic guest comfort.
