This house is so peaceful! Beautiful views! Also had everything you would need while staying. It was myself, my 74 year old mother and my 2 adult sons. We enjoyed our stay. I wish we would have had more time at the house.

The best things about this rental: 1) the location, on the western shore of Sugar Island; you can watch the freighters; bring your kayak; 2) the screen room! It is big enough for lounging, family dinners and games; 3) ease of check-in; 4) great WiFi; 5) spaciousness of house. This house is newly listed for rental. We recommend the owners have the screen room cleaned for every guest as it is the best thing about the house and the spiders and moths agree!Things for consideration: 1) it is magical to take a ferry to your destination; be aware that the ferry cost 20 RT; 2) there is one convenience store and one bar on the island so plan your food and drinks accordingly. This was not an issue for us. We always refer to our trips to the upper peninsula as U.P. Your pack it. This was a great rental for our family of four for a week.
