Knotty Pine is the quintessential vacation home. A large screened porch graces the front of the house, where you'll have space to sip, sigh and smile away the day. With views of Lake Michigan just across the street, the sounds of the lake are a reminder that you're thankfully far from home.
The main level offers an open "L" shaped floor plan with the full kitchen, dining area with French doors to the screened porch, and a living area focused around the fireplace. The back room offers an additional large dining area and another living area around the TV. A main floor bedroom with en suite full bath make multi-generational visits even easier. On the upper level, another four bedrooms and full bathroom accommodate the rest of your family.
Stepping out the back door, there's a patio for outdoor dining, a gas grill and back yard fire pit. Families will enjoy the green spaces for letting the kids play outside, or use some of the long, wide driveway for chalk art, riding bikes or playing four square.
Knotty Pine has been the same family for multiple generations, and like the views, the experience is unforgettable and only leaves you wanting more.

Christmas on the lakeshore
Nice place overall, but a few issues. Stovetop stopped working so we really couldn't cook much.Handle on coffee pot broke off when filling pot, which resulted in potting hitting sinktop and breaking. Never could figure out the gas fireplace in upstairs living room.Realtor was responsive,leading up to stay which we appreciated.

Ideal retreat
The cottage is charming, comfortable and cozy! We slept better than ever on the comfortable beds with no sounds of traffic or people noise— just the lapping of the Lake Michigan waters. We rode bikes, made s’mores, played games (board games and yard games), talked, laughed and read quietly on the screened in porch. Saw wildlife as we rode bikes on a non crowded street with a view. Just perfect!
