Our Policy on Accommodating Children:

Our suites are an ideal set up for two adults. To ensure a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere for all our guests, we are unable to accommodate young children.

Pet-Friendly Saugatuck Accommodations:

We understand the importance of traveling with your furry friends. While most suites are not pet-friendly, Suite #3 (The Peony), Suite #4 (The Rose), and Suite #9 (The Sunflower) welcome pets with specific fees and details. Pet Policy: For designated pet-friendly suites, we welcome one dog under 40lbs with prior approval, a $200 non-refundable pet fee, and a signed pet contract.

Since we live on the property, we get to see firsthand how special a quiet getaway is for our guests. To make sure everyone gets the peaceful escape they booked, we hold fast to a few house rules. Trying to sneak around them never turns out well for anyone, so we like to lay it all out on the table!

Adult Getaway Retreat: Porches on Mason is designed strictly as an adult escape. Maximum suite occupancy is strictly 2 people per room—no exceptions.

Visitors Welcome, Extra Sleepovers Not Allowed: Want to host a friend for coffee or a glass of wine? Absolutely! Daytime visitors are welcome as long as they honor our quiet hours (10:00 PM – 8:00 AM). Overnight stays, however, are strictly limited to the 2 registered guests on your reservation.

Furry Friends in Designated Suites Only: We adore dogs! That’s why we created 3 special pet-friendly suites. To protect guests with severe allergies, pets are not allowed in non-pet suites at all. Undisclosed pets cannot be accommodated anywhere on the property, so please make sure you’ve booked one of our 3 pet suites before arriving with your pup!

We love giving our guests total privacy with seamless self-check-in (though we verify arrivals via our entry monitoring system and love saying hello if we run into you!). If your plans change before heading over, just reach out so we can update your details!
