Fabulous property in great location within a quick walk to downtown Saratoga Springs. Front desk staff is extraordinarily helpful and friendly, especially Amanda. Breakfast is wonderful and the daily free reception is a nice plus! Everything is clean, neat and attractive.

The staff was great, the cocktail reception and breakfast were excellent, and the room was very nice. There was, however a problem with the heat in our room (214). We spoke to the dfront desk and eventually a maintenance man came and tok a loo, and "reset" it. He told us the heat would now come up to our desired temperature, but it would take about an hour. We wrapped up in jackets and blankets, but the temps never got up to our desired temperature until 7 o'clock this morning. Not sure what the problem is, but the maintenance man might need to take another look. I mentioned it again to the front desk at checkout.

The staff at this hotel are extremely friendly and professional, and that is much appreciated. And it's all the more remarkable that they were so in the hectic holiday. At least the room I had was suffering from old furnishings, and the sofa was effectively unusable because it was so broken down. One of the two beds was also in very poor condition. The location is very good, adjacent to downtown, and so one might want to try this hotel and hope that my experience was an oddity.
