When we arrived dishes in the sink, trash hadn't been taken out, beds looked like somebody just woke up dirty counters, dirty bathroom. We were aloud to move all of our things with two kids, down to a unit. The new place had a broken microwave, no privacy on ground floor porch due to the pool where people were smoking cigarettes, and being annoyingly loud. I asked for a later check out I was given an excuse about cleaning schedules. Then he had the audacity to tell me if I wanted to stay he would let me pay for another day. Time and convenience was taken from my nephews first vacation. I definitely will return to Siesta Key Beach, but I will not be using this host again. Happy 4th of July everyone.

Location Great

If you are looking to be close to the beach but away from the hectic aspect, this is the place. It's in a quiet neighborhood with an easy walk over the bridge to public beach access 12. It's just a short drive into the Sarasota Marina in one direction or Venice in the other. If you want to go into Siesta Key Village the trolley runs along the main road once over the bridge as well. It was also nice to come home and sit on the cute little balcony at night and enjoy a cocktail. The Boatyard Waterfront Bar and Grill is right across the street and has a great view of the bay. The unit was clean and the owners were very responsive to questions. We will happily stay here again.
